SUMMER X DANIEL

He was calm. In fact, Daniel Webber was so calm that his brain wasn't even functioning right. There she was in a beautiful dress with those beautiful legs showing—he was sure she was freezing, but he couldn't move. He was paralyzed; bewitched by the siren-like creature standing in front of him. Her hair fell all the way down to her waist in waves and he wanted to drown in them. Lips red like the blood rapidly flowing inside of him, and a smile—oh my god a smile that made his heart beat insanely fast

He was a goner.

"Danny?" Her sweet voice made its way to his ears and he almost fainted. "Are you okay?"

"Never been better." He smirked. "You're beautiful, Summer Hills."

And now it was her time to almost faint. That voice, that look, that boy. "So are you Daniel Webber."

Both of them were smiling like two grinning idiots until they decided to go. Danny had plans for the night, and she would blindly follow him. On one condition, she said with a mischievous smile. Oh, how he liked that girl. Without even knowing what it was, he agreed. So in the end of the night, they would follow her plans. If he had to guess—or hope—he knew this was the best deal he'd ever made.

Their first stop was a very well known place in New York City. Where the lights shone bright and people were everywhere; Times Square. He had managed to get two tickets to see Hamilton. Her face was priceless when she saw where they were going; it was like a child getting candy. He knew for a fact that Summer would love anything he did for her because that's just who she is—but it didn't hurt that he got her something she loved. Musicals.

"Daniel!" She gasped when they sat down in the middle row. The best place if you asked him; close enough to see and far enough to not have spit all over you. "How did you get these? They were sold out!"

"A guy owed me a favor." and couldn't be further from the truth. He knew a guy that knew a guy that worked with the play's crew. And now he was the one owning a favor.

"Oh, really?"

One of the reasons he was so entranced and curious about Summer was that even though they met a couple of days ago, she seemed to know him more than his friends. Just like she knew he was lying.

"Okay, I worked my ass off to get those tickets." He chuckled, a slight blush forming on his cheeks. When she grabbed his hands and smile at him, the slight blush turned into a full heat wave and his vision blurred for a moment.

"Thank you." that was all he needed to know that it was worth it. The afternoon of phone calls and desperate begging was worth it.

"You are very much welcome." into my life.

The play was amazing. They laughed. Summer cried. And Danny got to hold her all night. It was a win-win situation, really. She got to be held, and he got to hold. After the play ended and they stood in the line for fifteen minutes—at Summer's request—to buy the Soundtrack CD, it was time to get a move on to the next part of the night. Dinner. At Milos. And this time it was no lie that a guy owed him a favor.

The table was already set and it was waiting for them. Not a second of waiting. He felt pretty powerful at that.

"Let me guess," she smirked and he bit his lip. God, this woman was going to be the death of him. "A guy owed you a favor?"

"How'd you know?" he laughed. "I used to work here. I was a kitchen boy. I saved the hostess ass once, and now she's paid the debt."

"How charming of you, saving asses and all that jazz." Summer laughed.

"What can I do? I was born to be a knight in shining armor." Danny joked.

"Indeed you were."

Dinner was amazing. They ate until the physically couldn't anymore and when it came to paying the bill, they didn't. Apparently, the hostess owed him big time. So now it was time to fulfill his end of the deal. He would follow Summer blindly and hope for the best.

He recognized the path they were making; it was the way to her house. The were close, her body touching his, arms around each other, hands itching to touch. But good things come with time. And all they had to do was wait a little more.

Danny held the door for her, remembering to lock it behind him. He knew this was her aunt's house and that she was alone. It bothered him a little bit to think of Summer alone in the large house. Who would be watching her smile?

"Okay," she said as she shrugged off her coat and walked behind him. Her soft hands were in his eyes and she was whispering in his ear. "Don't peek."

"I wouldn't dare."

Daniel barely recognized his own voice. It was gruff and low with want. With need. She guided him somewhere and he sat down, eyes still closed. "You can look now."

In front of him was a fireplace, lit already, the flames giving a certain air of mystery and lust. On the center-table were a wine and some cheese. He looked back at her. He wasn't smirking. He wasn't chuckling. He was smiling, a true and real smile. Apparently, she knew him better than he thought.

"I know we just ate," she said hiding her hands between her knees. She's cold, he thought. "But I thought this would be... nice." cue to blushing.

Now he was smirking. Danny scooted over and wrapped his arms around the red haired girl. They were close. Close enough to touch. Close enough to feel each other's breath. Close enough to kiss.

Believe it or not, Summer made the first move. The kiss was frantic in the begging, and slow in the end. Because really, they had no hurry. There was no one coming, and no one waiting. It was just Summer and Daniel. Daniel and Summer.

It was just them.
