XII: Nerf War
Today is Friday, which means its Shawn's and I's annual nerf war day! I take our nerf guns and load it with bullets, I hid Shawn's nerf gun on top of the closet.
I waited in our room for Shawn to come home from work. Soon, I hear the door open and close.
" ( Y/N ). Where's my nerf gun? " I hear Shawn shout from downstairs. He suddenly comes in the room and he sees me with a ' Where-The-Hell-Did-You-Hide-It? ' face.
I run past him and shoot him once before I run downstairs. " Its on top of the closet. " I shout from the kitchen.
I hear Shawn run down the stairs lightning speed as he tries to find me. " Where are you baby girl? ".
As soon as I hear Shawn enter the kitchen, I come out of hiding and I shoot him with every last bullet I had, until only air is coming out of the gun.
" Ahh! " I shout as I see Shawn charging at me, I make a run for it. I dodge all the bullets that were shot towards me. " Ahh! " I scream again when I feel a strong pair of arms lifting me up from the ground.
" I can't believe you hid my nerf gun. " Shawn spins me around, so I was facing him, my arms wrapped around his neck and my legs wrapped around his torso.
" I'm sorry? " I pout innocently at him.
"That pout is not gonna work this time ( Y/N ) " he says, but I just keep showing him my innocent pout. " Ugh, its a good thing I love you. " he plants a kiss on my lips.
" And I love you too. " I smile and kiss him slowly, yet passionately.
