XXII: Christmas Tree

A/N: Here is the first imagine of Christmas Special Countdowns! The imagines will be longer than my normal ones, so I hope you all will enjoy it :)

XXII: Christmas Tree

" Shawn! " you called out from your spot from the large closet where you and Shawn store most of your things that you don't always use.

" What, (Y/N)? " Shawn called back from his spot in the kitchen, clearly eating a muffin.

" Come help me, " you struggle. " I can't get the box out of the closet, " you looked at the cardboard box that held your Christmas Tree, and trying to figure out some way to get it.

" Alright. " he washed his hands before making his way to the doorway closet, his eyes catching sight of all the Christmas ornaments and decorations you had piled out in the hallway. " What are all of these? " he said motioning to the mess in the hallway.

" Christmas stuffs, now can you help me get the tree out please? " you asked, desperately needing help.

" You could have asked for my help in the beginning. " Shawn said as he ventured into the closet.

" I was trying to be an independent woman. " you said proudly.

" Really? And how did that worked out for you? " you could tell that he was already smirking.

" Shut up, " you groan. " at least I got all these decorations out. " you looked at the mess you made in the hallway.

" Okay baby, " he chuckles as he finally comes out of the closet with the box he's holding on. " now where do you want this to go? "

" the living room, we're putting it in the corner where we normally have that small table, " you instructed him, following close behind with the box of ornaments.

" By the tv? "

" Mhmm. " you replied, putting your box down in the middle of the living room as you went to turn on the gas fireplace. " What? " you noticed him staring at you. " It's more cozy this way. " you grinned. " Okay, each part is labeled with a letter. The base is labeled A and every part past that is labeled the according letter. "

" Okay, I've found A, now what? " Shawn asks, pulling out the base of the tree.

" Just put it down right there. Now find B and it on top of it, I'll deal with the lightings. " you told him. " Have you seriously never put up a Christmas tree before? " you raised an eyebrow at him. "

" Of course I have, I just like to see you take the lead. " he winks, which made you scrunch up your nose.

You watched as he put down the next piece, stopping him so you could fluff out the branches. Once you felt that they were good enough, you instructed him to put he next piece on. You connected the cable for the lights to the bottom piece and continued your way to the top.

" Ready for the most beautiful lights ever. " you said proudly and turn it on. Sure enough, it lights up the whole tree.

" It does look pretty. "

" Know what would make it look even prettier? " you grin.

" What? "

" Ornaments! " you said excitedly, pulling the ornament box near the both of you.

Before you knew it, the decorations were on the tree and Shawn placed the star on the top of it.

" You're right, this does look prettier. " Shawn says as he stands back a little to get a better view.

" I'm just glad I have someone tall enough to place the star on the tree. " you joked, wrapping your arms around his waist.

" I see, so that's why we moved in together. " Shawn joked back, pressing a kiss to the top of your head.

" That was hard work right there. " you motioned to the Christmas tree.

" What do you want to do now baby? " Shawn asks.

" Hmm, let's just relax and watch a Christmas movie with blankets. " you said grinning up at him.

" Anything for you. " he laughed.

Shawn got the blankets and hot chocolates while you put on a Christmas movie on the tv. The two of you spent the rest of the day cuddling together in warmth.

I feel like I'm going to use 'you' instead of 'I' from now one, because I feel like it gives it more feel I guess?
