20. Everything

Amethyst's Prov

"Look at my two birthday boys," I joke hugging Ashton and Luke.

"I've missed you, Amethyst," Luke admits after I pull away from the hug.

"Awe I missed you too," I smile. I haven't seen him since him, Lucy and Oliver went to Hawaii for a couple of months. "How was your trip?"

"Kind of needed after a wedding," he laughs.

"Yah I remember Amethyst's and my honey moon," Ashton states, "except no kids," he winks making me blush.

"Oh don't worry. He's almost 18 he was off all day," Luke assures making my nose scrunch up thinking about what they did.

"No need for the gross detail," I chuckle.

Lucy walks up to us hearing all the laughs. I quickly hug my good friend before starting a conversation about how beautiful Hawaii is. The must have had such a good time. Ashton and I went to Australia to see his family. It was an exciting time. As I think back to the walks on the beach Ashton wraps his arms around my waist pulling my closer. I smile up at my lovely husband before getting back into the small conversation.

"So should we get this party started," Luke exclaims. "No one has drink son their hands and that needs to change."

"You sound just like Mikey," I laugh as we all migrate to the other guests at this party.

I see Calum in the corner and tell Ashton I'll be right back. I haven't seen him in awhile too. Actually I haven't really seen any of the three since the band ended. They're all really close but they wanted their own lives too. I mean we all live in the same town. We just live kind of far away for each other. Calum and Carly moved out two years ago. They actually live at my grandmas since I gave them a deal. Raising a 8 year must be tough because they aren't around much. Calum sees me and comes charging for a hug. I open my arms and he gives me the biggest squeeze ever. I hope everything is okay in there.

"Amethyst," he beams, "this party was a good idea."

"Thank you," I smile, "all that's left is Mikey and I get to make the party go wild."

"I don't see how it can get any better than this," Calum states mentioning to all of his friends and family.

"You'll see," I smile. "I'm going to go say hi to Austin and Brook," I wink and he chuckles.

"Be careful," he jokes walking back to his wife.

I give Carly a sincere wave and head off in the other direction. I saw Austin first. It was probably because he was making out with Brook and she pretty much is two times smaller than him that she can hide pretty easily. I go over to the and tap Austin's shoulder. They stop kissing and turn their attention to me.

"Hey lovebirds there's children here," I joke.

Austin gives me another bone crushing hug that makes me worried again. I push him away nicely and give Brook a more gentle hug. They got together last year. It's quite adorable. They are like the most beautiful couple I've ever seen and I can't wait until they have kids. If they continue dating.

"It's great seeing you again," Brook says and I give her a smile.

"I'm glad you could come," I say, "both of you."

Ashton comes up behind me. He wraps his arms around my waist again pulling me into a small little hug that makes me blush. I look over my shoulder to see his cute little face. I love him.

"Mikey and Shannon are here," he tells me and I quickly pull his body off of me.

"It's time," I scream before running to the scented of the back yard.

I stand up on the table and grab the megaphone I got for this amazing occasion. There going to be so excited. I'm excited. Well I Jena I've been married to Ashton for like four years and this is exciting news I hold, in me. I turn on the mega phone and put it against my lips.

"Everyone I have an announcement," I say into the megaphone.

Everyone at the party quiets down and smirk as their attention is thrown at me. I turn off the megaphone and set it down by my feet again. Taking a deep breath I look at my husband then back at the other guests.

"Some of you have maybe noticed that I've been eating a lot and gaining a lot," I chuckle.

"Oh my god!" Shannon screams making the whole room look at her, "you're pregnant."

"Damn I wanted to say that," I smile holding my stomach.

Ashton comes closer to the table I'm standing on with a shocked face. "I'm a dad?" He asks.

"Almost three months. I don't know if it'll live yet but it outlasted the other one," I state and he gives me a smile.

"That's amazing," he says teaching his hand out to help me down from the table.

"I'm glad you think that," I admit and he gives me a cute little kiss on my cheek.

"I love you," he says whiling a tear from his eye.

"I love you too," I remind.

People quickly get all there congratulations and questions in. I have never seen more people so excited for a kid since Kiersten was born. It's times like these when I'm the happiest I could ever be. It makes me think back to when I tried to end my life. I thought it would never get better but I look around at my family and -I can't help but feel like I'm stealing this from tumblr- I just don't understand why I was so worried back then.

I pretty much fling myself awake. My breathing is unsteady. Something next to me moves and I almost start freaking out. But the light turns on and Ashton is by my side again. I flinch from the sudden light. That was really delayed I must be out of it. I don't know why I feel so scared. The things I just dreamed of were everything I could hope for.

"Is everything okay?" Ashton asks me and I nod.

Even if it was a dream I got a taste of what happiness could be like for me. Dream me was right. Why am I so worried? Ashton is by my side and my friends still care for me. I have a family, a sister. I have a good job and good kids to teach. Why am I being so selfish? I have a good life.

"Everything is perfect," I tell him.

"Everything?" He asks worriedly.

"Everything," I smile making him smile back.

"What was your dream about?" He asks me making my smile grow a bit wider.

"The close future," I answer him, "when I ask why I was ever worried. I love you Ashton"

"I love you too," he kisses my cheek before pulling me back to bed.

"Can you sing for me?"

"Of course."

So I fall back asleep with his cute little voice sing to me, 'you are my sunshine.' My thought were on him and my dreams were about him. How could they not even about him? I love my baby Ashy.
