Chapter Three

Michael's P.O.V

I woke up in Ashton's arms, Luke was across from me but when I turned my neck to look up at Ashton, my neck suddenly felt like it was on fire ad my eyes were feeling droopy again, I groaned loud enough fro Ashton to wake up because I didn't want to talk. I knew that I had a piece of lead in my neck, I didn't feel Pandora do it yesterday but I could feel it now and it hurt like a bitch. "Mike, you okay?" Ashton asked groggily, looking down at me. did you take out the lead from my neck ? I linked, "there's lead in your neck ?" he asked, yeah, get it out please, it hurts like hell I said. "yeah one sec," he replied, leaning over and opening his draw and taking out a tweezer and some tissues. He picked my head up from his chest and placed it on my pillow, he ran his hand over the un-healed wound (wounds caused by lead didn't heal immediately) and gently took the piece out with the tweezer. I hissed at the pain but clenched my teeth and waited patiently until Ashton had cleaned it up. "you okay ?" he asked, looking down at me, I nodded in response and cuddle up to him again. "Can I have some of your blood ?" I whispered into Ashton's neck. He hummed, I extracted my fangs and sunk them into Ashton's shoulder, taking a tiny sip and immediately moving away, not wanting him to lose too much even though he was immortal, he still got weak from losing blood. I tasted that Luke had taken blood from Ashton a few hours prior to that so I didn't drink too much. I looked up and smiled at him, pecking his nose and then laying down again.

"morning you two," Luke said, looking over Ashton's shoulder. "morning Lu," Ashton and I replied in unison.

I rolled over so that I was practically lying on top of Ashton and he put his arm around me. "Are we going to school today ?" I whispered hoarsely, my throat was still sore from the lead. "You don't have to, Luke and I can go," he whispered back, I nodded and snuggled into his chest even more. "Go back to sleep, we'll wake you up before we leave," Ashton said, rolling over and waking Luke up. The two went to the bathroom and got dressed, they sat with me on the bed. "We're going to school, we'll see you later Mike," Luke said, kissing my forehead and waving. I nodded and smiled, waving back "bye Mikey, love you" Ashton said, kissing my cheek and leaving hand-in-hand with Luke. I closed my eyes, trying to tune out the throbbing pain in my neck. I hugged my pillow-well Ashton's pillow and tried to make myself believe that it was either Luke or Ashton but it didn't work and I needed blood but I felt way too weak to get out of bed or even reach over to the bedside table. I took my phone out from underneath my pillow, contemplating on whether to call Ashton or Luke or just wait it out. I decided on the latter since they probably only got to school and I didn't want to bother them.

I woke up a few hours later, feeling something cold on my forehead. I opened my eyes and flinched, Pandora was there and had her hand on my forehead. I touched my chest and felt my necklace, letting out a quiet sigh. I looked up at her and her eyes were orange, "Ashton!" I linked, it came out as a scream of his name. "What's wrong ?" He asked calmly, "Pandora-," I breathed "what happened ?" He linked back. "She's here," I rushed out, squeezing my eyes shut since she was looking straight into them.

"I'm here Mike, I'm coming," he breathed back and two seconds later, the door burst open. "Pandora, leave Michael alone," Ashton said calmly and I opened my eyes, looking at Ashton who nodded in a way that showed me that he would protect me. "Where is your father ?" Pandora asked, her voice was calm and crystal clear. "I don't know where he is, after I left he moved away and didn't tell me where he went to, I'm not even allowed to visit him," Ashton replied, I could feel how scared he was and that made me acne more scared but I knew that he would protect me. "How do I know that that's the the truth ?" Pandora asked, her hand on my forehead got lighter. "I don't have any proof, your just going to have to believe me," Ashton said, he walked closer to us and grabbed my hand, you'll be okay he linked. "Fine but if this is a lie, I will make sure that I make your life a living hell," she said and removed her hand from my forehead completely, she flew out of the winding and we lost sight of her. Ashton and I both breathed out sighs of relief and Ashton sat down next to me. "Mike, are you okay ?" He asked softly, "y-yeah," I replied, sitting up against the headboard, "you sure ? What else did she do to you ?" I hummed, "nothing, I'm fine Ash,"
