Chapter Six

Ashton stood up from his place on the ground-next to his mum's grave, he'd been sitting there for around an hour after Michael and Luke left. He had finally calmed down enough to stop shaking ad hiccupping so he walked to their car. He didn't expect to find his two soulmates on the ground, arms around each other and passed out completely. He licked his chapped, dry lips and walked closer to Michael and Luke. He kneeled down next to Michael and checked to see if he was breathing, which both of them were. He moved their arms off of each other and carefully picked Luke up and put him into the car, doing the same with Michael. He sped back into town, not caring about going over the speed limit as he drove to the clinic. The only person that was at work and not on lunch break was Zayn, he checked on Luke and Michael saying that they were going to be okay before he slammed the door in Ashton's face, he said that Niall and Liam wouldn't be with him but they allowed him to work there which was why Ashton figured that he was upset with him.

Ashton waited though, he waited for someone else to come back from lunch break because he felt like Zayn was lying to him. Niall and Louis came after half an hour of waiting, they frowned at the sight of Ashton who was pacing across the ground closest to his car. They walked up to Ashton who told them what happened and both of them shook their heads-well Niall swore Zayn under his breath and had to keep himself from storming into the clinic and shouting at Zayn. The two took Michael and Luke into their section of the clinic on stretchers. They hooked both boys up with drips and injected a bit of Ashton's blood into both of them since once you drank form your soulmate/s then you couldn't drink another vampire's blood unless they were in trouble as well and couldn't give you their blood. Ashton sat down in one of the plastic chairs after dragging it to the place in between Luke and Michael's beds, of course he sat a bit closer to Michael but he still checked on Luke every few minutes by standing up and walking the two steps to Luke's bed. Ashton couldn't sit for long though, he paced around the room, his black combat boots making a noise as he did.

Niall came in to check on all three boys every half an hour and the time went so fast that before he knew it, Ashton saw that it was already pitch black outside, he looked at his watch to see that it was already 10 pm and Niall and Louis were still here, Harry and Liam had even come in to have dinner with their soulmates and the four of them were sitting in the room next to the one that Ashton, Luke and Michael were in. Eventually Ashton couldn't take it and got into the small hospital bed, so he was laying next to Michael. He wrapped his arms around the boy and pulled him on his chest carefully, he wanted Luke to be there as well but the bed was way too small.

Michael stirred in Ashton's arms, moving closer to him after another hour of Ashton waiting. He called for Louis and Niall, telling them that Michael was about to wake up when they came into the room. The two nodded and left the room, coming back with two glasses of blood and food-that probably had some type of medication to make the two become stronger faster in it.

Ashton's P.O.V

Michael twisted and turned in my arms, his eyes fluttered open and I was met with his beautiful green eyes. "you okay love ?" I asked, Michael hummed groggily.

"is Lu okay ?" he asked me, I looked over to see Luke waking up as well so I got out of Michael's bed and pulled Luke's closer, so that it was right next to Michael's. I got back into bed with Michael, more towards the end of the bed so that I was close to Luke as well. Someone knocked on the door, "come in." I yelled ad the door opened, Calum was standing there. "what do you want ?"I spat, "oh, they aren't dead yet." he said, frowning, I could hear the sadness in his voice. "why do you want to kill us so badly ? can't you spare your soulmates at least ?" I asked, holding Michael tighter since he was grabbing onto my shirt for dear life. "because if I don't kill you, then mum will know that i'm a vampire or well, that I have vampire soulmates and i'll be disowned." he replied, "who's your mum ?" Michael asked from my side.
