Grandma Dollop's savvy was catching radio waves. She would store her very favorite ones in glass jars. There's this one jar that's very special. It holds the very same song that was played at her and Grandpa Bomba's wedding. And since it's forever trapped in that Peter Pan peanut butter jar, we play it at all the family weddings.

When she died a few years ago, all those glass jars were split between Momma and all of her siblings. Of course, we don't have as much as my cousins after Rocket's birthday.

Since Rocket can't go to school again just yet, he and Momma would keep busy in the basement. So since I'd decided not to go to school today, while Momma was teaching Rocket, she had me alphabetize those jars... in the basement.

This would have been a great distraction from stressing over tomorrow, but Rocket just couldn't let that happen. Every so often, he would zap me with one of his savvy-powered electric shocks. When one of them sent me flying into the shelves, Momma finally took notice and scolded him. Since the basement was the safest place to keep Rocket, Momma suggested I just go upstairs and check on Gypsy.

Rocket really should lay off of me from time to time. Just wait till tomorrow and I'll show him just how much I can take his nonsense. Ugh, I'm driving myself sleepy...

Even high-energy-Gypsy's sleeping. And, come to think of it, I'm not that awake either. Waking up so early hasn't done me any g_____________
