Chapter 13- SIGNAL

Next morning was horrible. Team went out to find clues and witnesses. They were all tired. But the worst was they didn't find anything.

After all, they needed a little free time and this morning was the best time.

Having breakfast relaxed them a little. Because this time no one had been late or no one argued.

After the breakfast, they went to their own rooms to change clothes. It was time for some pool adventures.

Dick went upstairs of the hotel, which was owned by his own adoptive father, to his room. On the way for his room, the man he saw on the first day of the mission, stopped him.

"Master Wayne-" Dick interrupted him before he even begin.

"It's Grayson."

The man apologized immediately. "I am sorry, sir. Mr. Grayson, would you like the maids to clean your room?"

Dick quickly shook his head as 'no'. He tried to walk away but the man stopped him again. "Please, sir. It's alright. Everything for my boss' son. We'll just move you to another room until your's is completely clean." The man said.

Oh God! Why this man is being a trouble for me? Dick thought.

Raven haired boy sighed and again, shook his head. "No need to be two-faced. Just leave me alone. Don't interrupt me while I am with my friends. Excuse me, I am getting late."

He walked away while the man glared after him.

As Dick was getting ready and trying to kick maids out of his room kindly, Artemis and M'gann was sunbathing*, Wally was swimming and Kaldur was talking* with Conner at the Pool' Café.

"He's late. Again." Conner said angrily.

"Relax. He probably had some things come up. Batman called him maybe and wanted report from the last night." Kaldur tried to calm his friend down.

Dick wore his sunglasses after he got changed. He got out of the room and walked towards the hall which was downstairs. He looked out of the hotel's window to see his friends.

"Oh God! I am late! Too late!" He ran downstairs faster than any person should in a hotel.

But this speed made him fall.

He fell on top of a man.

"Watch it, badger!" The man under him yelled.

What is wrong with people? Now, everyone calling me a badger! Dick thought. He got off of him and apologized "I'm sorry. I was getting la-" The man stopped him, harsh.

"Shut it! I don't have time for your excuse! Get out of my way!" He yelled then ran to the exit door after pushing younger boy to the ground.

Geez, this man looks way too much familiar...

Dick got up and muttered under his breath something like "Whatever..." He went to the back yard, out of the hall. He saw a couple security-men running towards exit. They stopped as they saw Dick.

"Sir, excuse us for interrupting you but-"

"No problem. Everyone does..." He gave a slight nod for man to continue.

"Did you see someone like this?" They showed a picture of a man who looked like... The guy he ran over.

Johannes Caquire was written under the picture. Dick just fell on top of that Physco...

At the Watchtower, Justice League was having argument about the last mission they were in.

"If Flash could stay in his area as I was doing my job, we would finish it earlier..." Green Arrow whispered under his breath.

But Flash heard it. "Me? Oh, and if Green Arrow wouldn't try to shoot the robots I was taking care of, none of those wo-" Wonder Woman stopped him and the others.

"Stop arguing! It is so childish!"

Batman glared at Flash and Green Arrow. He wasn't in any good mood. He had a bad feeling inside. Infamous Bat glare stopped whisperings.

Superman's voice broke the silence. "Guys you need to see this..." Everyone turned their heads to the computer which was showing The Young Justice's statue or where they are.

The coldness covered Batman's body. He felt the worry as he looked at the big screen in front of him.

Young Justice's signal was not there to be seen.
