Today is the day.
The day all of this started.
The day I lost the two most important people of my life.
The day when my last thread of sanity slipped away.
Today is 27th of Jan.

Its 1 in the afternoon right now and I haven't moved out of my room. I didn't sleep last night and just keep crying and crying.

Right now all I need is somebody to come and hug me tight.
Caleb left the castle for some important stuff a week ago, same day when I caught him with his whore.

And he didn't had the audacity to keep her somewhere secluded... I see her everyday, roaming the castle.

With all the thoughts overwhelming me I just kept on sobbing.

Vanessa (POV)

Cabby has been out for a week and I don't think the conditions are good between them. I heard her shouting but I didn't heard Caleb's response and that was right before I saw the redhead come out of his office and saw him ran out of the castle.

I swear to god if he had done anything wrong with my best friend and future sister in law I will rip his balls out and feed them to crows.

As I was thinking about these stuff my phone rang, an unknown number it was. Although cautious I picked it up.

"Hey Vanessa it's Emma's Dad. How are you? " I heard his say.

"Oh! Hey Uncle, yes I am fine. Do you wanna talk to Emma? " I asked worried that why did he called me.

"Oh no no no... It's fine... I wanted to talk to you about something important. If you have a few seconds. "

"Oh yes Uncle sure just a second. "
With that I moved to my room so that no one could hear our discussion.

"Yes Uncle say. " I replied after closing my bedroom door.

"Uh... As you are the only friend my daughter got there I just wanted to ask for your help. Now listen carefully, I want you to approach Emma today and try to lift her mood up. Today is a very crucial day for her. She has lost her everything today. I just want you to be there for her. "

I listened carefully and wondered
"What is today Uncle? "

He hesitated a little then replied "It's her place to tell not mine. I just want you to be there. She could even kill herself today. Trust me she had tried. " As he said those words I got panicked. It's 2 in the afternoon right now. And no one has seen or heard from her from last night.

"OK Uncle I will. Bye. " I said and cut the call.

I just started to move towards her room with pack doctor on speed dial.

As I reached her room I headed wailing. It broke me. A part of me was relieved that she hadn't taken a stupid step but the other was sad for her.

I bet all of the wolves in the kingdom were feeling her pain and sadness.

It is the way we are. When our King or Queen are are feeling an emotion to extreme we all feel it but in a less amount.

I guess Caleb has started the mating process with her. I. E he has marked her.

I opened a little of her room door and saw her clothing a photo frame tightly while crying.

I just got inside and made my way towards her and sat in the bed quietly.
After she realized my presence she came and hugged me tightly while crying. I hugged her back and let her cry for hours.

After three hours if just crying she fell asleep.

I tucked her in and placed the photo frame in her hands without seeing it. If she wants she will tell cause it is obvious that her crying is related to the photo frame.

"You can come in now. She fell asleep " I said to Caleb who was standing right outside the door.

He came in and stared at her.
"I don't know what happened between you two but you need to solve this. She shouldn't suffer like this. I know what you are doing. Don't. Don't push you mate away because of what she said. " I said.

"I am not doing this because of that woman. I don't like Emma. She isn't capable-"

"Oh please save the lies for someone else who believe them. If you didn't like her or care for her you wouldn't be standing out there from the last three hours and I can see the tears in your eyes just by seeing her in pain. "

I said and the hugged him "Make the right choice " I said and then walked out of the room.

They both have horrible past.
But they have to fight for their love together.
They both have to fight for each other.

With that thought I moved into the kitchen cause I am starving.!

So..late update I know.
Sorry a lot has been going on.

Note: I just wanted to inform you guys that it's the ninth chapter and this book will only have 13-15 chapter (including Epilogue) . I don't want to stretch the story. I just want to keep it simple.
