Chapter 17

Chapter 17 - The challenge

~(Y/N)'s POV~

I watched quiet from my lonely corner on the boat as the master was explaining the rules. People looked like they were about to just jump off without waiting for him yo finished. Finally, the master said "Now. Let the trails begin!" The and everyone was off. At least trying to. Natsu and Happy tried to fly off first but then they got stopped by the air.

Man they're idiots sometimes. I swear. I thought myself shaking my head at their stupidity. The reason I am thinking like this is because in their haste to get to the island to start the trials, they didn't seem to notice the glowing runes that surrounded the corners of the ship.

"See ya later guys." Bickslow said. "You can come out once 5 minutes are up. Until then, I you'll have to wait. Bye now." Freed said and flew off with Bickslow close behind. Everyone looked angry, especially Natsu but Levy was completely unfazed.

Levy started to change the runes so that it would let her pass. "I can change this so we can pass. So I'm going to change it so," Levy said, jumping into the water with Gajeel.  Just when the rest were about to jump as well they got stopped again. "Just me and Gajeel can go. Sorry Lucy. Don't take it  personally." Levy explained swimming towards the island.

Evergreen started to change the runes as well. "This is an easy spell. I've known Freed for a long time and I've learnt a thing of two." She said. "If this was a harder spell I wouldn't be able to change it but this is easy." Evergreen and Elfman jumped in the water and started to swim to the island.

Everyone else has to wait on the boat for another 4 minutes. I giggled at the thought. This is gonna be interesting.

Sorry for the shoot chapter. I just moved houses and I need to help with making it cleaner and putting stuff away and all that kind of things. I make sure the meat chapter is longer.
