Cancer is talked about less than it should. People are dying, people are killing themselves and shaving their heads out of fear. I don't think society realizes how hard it is to walk around with a bald head and being skin and bones and how people romanticize it in movies and books, nobody looks at Cancer in the way they should. Directors and authors look at it like its something platonic. People have the audacity to smoke cigarettes and they yell crescendoes and breathe without a cannula and can walk without a prosthetic. People are sitting in hospital beds, hooked up to machines that buzz and beep. I heard a cancer patient laugh today and it sounds like the biggest lie i have ever heard. There are kids dying and the government has the answers, but who would want to lose the money when we are trillions in debt, ya know?
