Vic's POV

______

Evie was going to be coming in the next day or so. She'd requested a week off and for that week, she'd be with us, traveling and watching our performances. I just had to tell the guys why all of a sudden that there'd be a female and a baby on the bus.

"Uh, guys. Can I talk to you guys?" I asked Tony and Mike. They both had been sitting at the small table in our kitchenette area, both on their phones. Mike dropped his phone on the table and looked at me, concern filling his features. Tony did the same only, he didn't looked concerned. He looked like he knew. Which...wasn't possible. Was it?

"What's up?" Mike asked me. I sighed and tried to feel somewhat confident about this. Jaime squeezed my hand reassuringly.

"Okay, uh, promise to not freak out?" I asked, prolonging my actually having to tell them. Mike nodded.

"Just tell us, we're on edge already about whatever it is." Tony piped up. They didn't know about my close attempt of suicide. Jaime and I felt there was no need to worry them further.

"It's okay, Vic." Jaime whispered to me so only I could hear him.

"Okay, about a year ago, I uh..slept with this girl Evelyn. And she got pregnant.  And she has a baby...by me." I started. I could see Mike's face go from disappointment to proud and go back and forth. "And she's coming on tour with us for a week so I can meet our son." I was met with unadulterated silence. Tony's face didn't waver at all.

"Why the hell is she coming now? I mean, it's been a year, and she hasn't contacted you in that time." Tony asked aloud. All of our eyes went straight to him. I hadn't actually even thought about why she'd be contacting me.

"I-I dunno. That's a really good point though." I replied shakily. The theory of het plotting to kill me flooded back into my mind.

"And why haven't you said anything about this before?" Mike asked me.

"I was scared. I didn't want you to be disappointed in me." I mumbled out as I stared at the floor. Jaime kissed my cheek lightly, assuring me it was okay.

"Vic, bro. You do a lot everyday for other people. It'd take a lot to make anyone disappointed in you." Mike told me.

"I agree. When is she coming?" Tony asked me.

"In the next two days." I replied.

"I appreciate you telling us. It must've taken a lot for you to say anything." Mike stood from the table and came over to me. "We all love you, okay?" Mike gave me a small hug.

"Thank you." I choked out.

"You're welcome." Mike gave me a grin. "I'm excited to meet my nephew. What's the little guy's name?"

"River." I told him, starting to feel a little better. He nodded.

"I like. She named him?" He asked.

"We both talked briefly about it. And we'd met while hiking near a river." I explained. Tony stood from the table and turned to us.

"And he's how old now?" Tony asked.

"Ten months." I was nervous about meeting him, but I was also excited.

"Aw, so he's still in his cute stage." Mike joked. I scoffed at him playfully.

"If he's anything like me, then he'll be cute forever." I joked. Jaime laughed, reminding me of his comforting presence.

"I agree with that." Jaime said, playing along. Mike rolled his eyes playfully along with Tony.

It was good to know that my band backed me up on this situation. Their support meant everything to me, there was only two more people that really needed to know, and it would be even hard to tell them;

Mis Padres.
