Jaime's POV
______
I had been emotionally on edge since I'd told Vic. He appeared to be fine, he hadn't started yelling or throwing stuff, so that was a good sign? Unless he was bottling his anger because I'd asked him to. It was most likely the later.
"You ready?" Vic asked me, his hand sliding into mine. I nodded and we walked off the bus and across the parking lot to Remember's bus. It was a new venue and we had a day off before we actually had to play there.
It looked like a huge crowd of tattooed and pierced guys all standing around. The sight could be seen as scary, unless you knew the guys that were laughing and playing around. Vic let go of my hand to go talk to Jeremy and Alex. I made my way over to Zach, who looked a bit out of place.
"Hey, Zach." I said. He blinked, surprised by my sudden appearance.
"Hey, Jaime. How ya been?" He asked me. I grinned.
"I told him." I blurted to him. I was proud of myself for finally telling Vic what had been going on. But, I was on edge because I knew that Vic was livid, but was containing it because of me.
"Really? And how'd he take it?" Zach asked. He actually was listening to me. He was smiling as well, happy that I'd told Vic as well.
"Fine, he wasn't mad. As in, he hasn't broken anything or kicked her out."
"Telling him was the best idea then. I'm happy for ya. I could tell how upset you were about it."
"Yeah, thanks, Zach." I felt a hand on my shoulder and turned a litter to see Adam behind me. "Hey, Adam."
"Hey, guys. Mind if I take a few pictures? Just continue your conversation. I shrugged.
"Sure, dude." I told him. Zach nodded as well. "So did you give that photo away, the one you took of the sky?" I asked Zach. He was puzzled for a second but understood.
"Yeah, I gave it to a fan. She was freaking out when she saw me. I had just gotten it developed and didn't have a sharper on me, but all my photos have my signature on them, so I just gave her one as an autograph." He explained.
"That probably made her freak out even more, didn't it?" I asked with a laugh. He laughed along with me.
"Yeah. Ha, but it was cool. I kind of like when fans flip out, I mean, I'm human and don't see myself otherwise, but it's nice to know I make others freak the fuck out."
"I have to agree with you there."
"Thanks, guys. Do you wanna see what I took?" Adam came over and flipped his camera around, allowing us to see what he'd taken.
"I like that one." Zach said pointing to one of me and him laughing.
"Me too. I like that one too." I pointed to one of me and Zach just talking, but a small smile on both of our faces.
"Okay, thanks again." Adam gave us a slight wave and walked away to another group of our friends. We were all beyond used to Adam snapping candids or just being there, his eyes behind the lens.
Halfway throughout the party, I found myself on drink numero trés. Which isn't bad. I was near Vic, but for majority of the party, we hadn't talked, just smiled at each other, the few times our eyes had met. But right then, Vic was making his way over to me, Alex by his side.
"Hey, Jaime, Vic here says that he could probably dance a lot better than me, do you think that's true?" Alex asked me once they'd come in earshot. I felt myself.grin.
"Honestly, neither you can dance very well." I told them jokingly. Alex scoffed.
"Not true, I can dance!" Alex retorted. Vic rolled his eyes at him.
"No, you can't, Alex, I say that as a caring friend." Vic said you Alex.
"Nope, that's it, we're settling this, right now." Alex grabbed both of our wrists and began dragging us over to where the music was loudest at. He began dancing, throwing his arms in the air and shaking his hips about. Vic followed suit, dancing along to the music, but a lot more in time with the music. I stepped back and watched both of them look all silly, but were dancing as if no one was watching them. When the song ended, they both were breathless and looked to me to settle their small argument.
"You both looked silly." I told them in between laughs. Vic pouted at me and slapped my chest playfully.
"Well, I won..in my heart." Alex held a hand to his heart and twirled away. Vic shook his head at him.
"C'mon, let's get outta here." Vic took my hand in his and tugged me away from the party. The whole time, my eyes not able to leave his ass.
