Jaime's POV

______

I was scared, almost shaking. I thought I'd get used to this, but I never did, and I guess that was okay. Vic was on my lap, lazily kissing me. Which was fine. I was scared because, Vic wasn't himself, and refused to admit so. Evie was gone, and so was little River. He pulled back and looked into my eyes, those brown eyes of his could melt me in a second, but right then, they looked hurt.

"You're not kissing me back." He said softly. I hadn't even realized. I bit my bottom lip nervously.

"I had no idea, I'm sorry." I told him. He gave me a small, fake, smile.

"It's okay, a lot has happened, so I understand you being off in your thoughts." He leaned down and kissed me once more. "Sleep in my bunk tonight, okay?" I nodded.

"Okay, I love you." I told him.

"I love you, too." He slid off of me and left the room, his head down a little bit and his feet shuffling. I'd hurt him and I knew I had. The one person I never wanted to hurt. I followed behind him, grabbed his small waist and carried him all the way to his bunk. His small giggle the only sound to be heard.

Once inside his bunk, he curled up to me, his body fitting with mine perfectly. I kissed him right behind his ear.

"Let's watch a movie." I whispered to him. Vic never went anywhere without his laptop and I knew this. He reached over to the small compartment his bunk had and retrieved it. He opened the top and logged on, his fingers moving far too fast for my eyes to catch what his password was. As if I needed to. His password was Alberto, my middle name.

"Does it matter which?" He asked me as he went onto a website with free movies. I shrugged.

"Not really. We can watch anything you want to watch." I replied simply as I kissed his his neck.

"Okay." He clicked onto one and made it full screen. I wrapped and arm around his waist and pulled him closer to me as the movie started.

About halfway, or less, I had no idea, me and Vic had abandoned the movie, settling for finding pleasure in each other's lips. I pulled at his hair a little, to bring him closer to me. He nipped at my neck as a response. I laughed a little at his retaliation.

"Don't laugh at me." He whined playfully, a light laugh in his own voice.

"I'm not" I said playing along with him. He pulled back and pouted at me.

"Liar." He said teasingly. I held back a laugh. "Liar, liar, pants on fire." He sang quietly before attacking my lips. His fingers in my belt loops. My laughter quickly died as soon as our lips met. The sound of credits rolling and accompanied by instrumental music made us break apart and glance at the laptop screen.

"Why'd we even bother with a movie?" I asked him. He shrugged.

"You suggested it." He untangled himself from me and closed the screen, blanketing us in darkness. "Hey, babe?"

"Yeah?"

"I looooove you." Vic leaned close and rubbed his nose against mine. He knew that when he did that, that it irritated me to no end. But I'd gladly admit that he was just too adorable.

"Love ya, too." I told him between chuckles. He kissed me softly.

"Let's take a nap." I didn't even argue with him that it was only two in the afternoon. Because, it was fitting to drift off into dreamland with the man of my dreams in my arms. Why did I even bother dreaming anymore?
