My vision blurred and my blood started to boil, scratch that, evaporate. Anger clouded every emotion and thought I had in my mind almost instantly. She walked over to me, and unchained me and crouched in front of me and dug one of her artificial nails into my cheek. A smirk grew on her face and I saw red.
My first instinct was to pounce on her and scratch out her eyeballs and feed them to Asher, but I didn't. I stayed completely still, because I saw the look on Luke's face warning me to stay calm. My lashing out at her was what she wanted.
She wanted me to hit her so it would give Asher a reason to hit me, and there was no way in hell I would let her win in this little game she was playing with me.
I stayed completely still, and didn't flinch when she dug it into the spot where Michael hit me. It still hurt really bad, and there was still a cut there, so it was bruised and the cut most likely was infected by now.
I looked up at her and didn't move a muscle. I saw a look of disappointment in her eyes before they turned cold. I looked down at my feet and glanced over at Luke who had his hands tightened into fists, and his right leg was tapping like crazy rattling the handcuffs that were on his hands.
His eyes met mine and there were the darkest shade of black I've ever seen, but they softened back into the light hazel color when he looked at me.
Her eyes were a piercing green that could almost shoot daggers at anyone if they wanted to, and her fake nails were painted a matte black. Their eye colors seemed like they belonged together. His eyes were a soft, but bright hazel with lots of green flecks in them, and her's were a deep green that complimented his.
She looked at me and back at Asher multiple times before she spoke which gave me time to cool down.
She stood up from behind me and whispered something in Asher's ear eyeing me from time to time while she spoke to him softly. I got an uneasy feeling in the pit of my stomach and I felt nauseous to a certain extent. My hands were trembling and now my anger vanished and nervousness had set in.
I was the one in chains, I was the one kidnapped in a basement, and I was the one who needed to stay alive.
She walked away from Asher and stood in the center of the room underneath the lightbulb and put her hands on her hips before speaking. She laughed at bit at my uneasiness and anxiousness.
"Look who's nervous. Nice to see you again. Although I wish it were under worse circumstances. I wish that you were laying on that floor bleeding to death, but no here you are somewhat healthy and still annoying."
She glared back at Asher and he sent her a shrug.
I could hear Luke snarl at her, but she still hadn't acknowledged him yet.
"Oh baby. Has he been too rough with you? Asher I told you to be rough with her... not him!"
She touched his cheek, but he moved his face away from her hand. Asher took a step toward her, obviously angry, but it didn't faze her. As a matter of a fact she looked...amused.
"Well I have beef with him not her. She's your problem, but my priority." She snarled and glared at him, but he didn't budge.
Eventually she gave up, and rolled her eyes at him before replacing her attention on me. She walked back over to me and slapped me really hard causing my head to whip to the side. I could feel her handprint burn into my skin like an imprint. I slowly turned my gaze back on her and she smirked at me.
