The air whipped past my face as I held onto Michael's waist. His warm and familiar scent filled my nose. The entire city became a whirl as the different colored lights flashed past me. The roaring engine of his motorcycle filled my ears as we sped down the empty street.

"Mike where are we going!"

I had to partially yell because the engine was so loud.

"Everywhere!"

I smiled and clung to him tighter.

When Mike said everywhere he really meant everywhere. We pulled into a vacant lot that had a small diner to the left of it.

"Are we eating breakfast here?"

"Mhm."

"Mike I don't have my crutches. I can't walk."

I immediately regretted saying anything because he let out a loud sigh.

"I'll go get them."

"Wha- you can't they're all the way back at campus."

He got off the motorcycle and picked me up. He carried me into the small diner which smelled of coffee and fresh bread. He sat me down on one of the hard seats carefully.

"Stay here. I'll be back in 10 minutes I promise."

I stared at him in disbelief.

"You can't just leave me here alone. This place is empty and there's nothing around here but an empty parking lot."

"You'll be fine we're doing something spontaneous like we used to. I figured if we can't go bungee jumping let's do this."

As much as I wanted to just say no and tell him to take me somewhere else I gave in. I wanted to spend as much time as possible with him seeing as I haven't talked or spoken to him in the last month. Michael was a freshman in college, but Luke was a sophomore. All freshman had a celebratory graduation at the end of the year just like the senior's do. That's when I'm gonna make my final decision.

"Okay."

He kissed my forehead and walked swiftly out the door. I watched him run to his bike and speed off. The sun still hadn't risen and wouldn't rise until about 7.

I examined the obviously old diner with curiousity. The tables were made out of colorful tiles and the seats were metal stools. It had a bar that faced the old rusted oven and grill. The ceiling was dirty, and windows made up most of the walls. I was looking at a wall that held many pictures of small children and drawings before I heard the familiar ring when someone opened the door.

I turned towards the door ready to eat with Michael, but I froze when I saw who entered.

'No no no this can't be happening.'

"I thought you were dead?! Stay away from me!"

Asher walked towards me with a confused look on his face.

"Calm down."

He reached for my arm, but I screamed.
