Chapter 7

Peyton's POV
        I change into leggings, a Nike shirt and my roshes. I clean my face and out on natural makeup. I put on a white cap and grab my phone. I walk to the fro-yo place. I enter and see Jace sitting there with 2 cups. I walk up and smile. He looks up and says "hey you." I laugh and sit. He slides the fro-yo and says "your favorite flavor." 😊 I thank him and say "why are you such a great friend?"~ he looks at me and says "because I want to be." I smile. I grab my phone and open snap chat. I take a picture: this guy is amazing. 😍 I turn off my phone and eat my fro yo. Jace says "look up." I hold up my fro yo and smile. He laughs and says "you have a cute smile."~ I blush.
In her head
       Jace and I have grown closer to each other ever since Nick died. We've kinda got a connection; like a friend vibe. I think it's super cute that Jace always say honest things to me. I've felt more confident with myself . I feel comfortable acting like myself around Jace. He's like a brother who I kinda still have a crush on.
Jace's POV
      I take a picture of Peyton and put it on my story as : love seeing that smile 🍦  I look at the time and it's : 10:21. I look up at Peyton who's looking at me. I furrow my eyebrows and say "Pey, is there something on my face?"~ she shakes her head. I take her hand and throw out the trash. We walk out and head back to my house. I open the front door and tell Peyton to follow me into the den. I cover her eyes and count to 3. On 3 I uncover them and I hear Peyton gasp. She looks at me and hugs me.~ she whispers "thank you." She had tears rolling down her cheeks; I wiped them away and we sat down on the couch. Peyton picked up the candy and says "you're the best friend in the whole world!" I turn on the movie and watch it. We were half way through the movie when Peyton rests her head on my shoulder and lays her arm on my chest. I pull her close and whisper " I won't let anyone hurt you."~ I kiss her forehead.
