Chapter 30

** 1 week later **
Jace's POV
             I look out the window and see a bustling city I've missed. I look to my right and see Peyton smiling as she see the sun begin to set. I rest my head on her shoulder and whisper 'how's was your nap?' She kisses my forehead and whispers 'alright, the people behind us were snoring so loud.'~ she pouts. I laugh and say 'so the princess wants another nap?'~Peyton nods. I pull her closer to me and I say 'I'm so happy you got to come with me.' Peyton plays with our hands and I say 'you're such a child.' She laughs and says 'but you tolerate me.'~ I grin. The taxi honks and I see we're at the hotel. I take out our suitcases and I pull out my phone. I take a boomerang of Peyton jumping in front of the hotel. We take the elevator to the 37 floor. We find our room and I swing the door open. Peyton drops her backpack and says 'no way! The company didn't pay for all this.'~ I nod and say 'they did.' Peyton walks up to the balcony and says 'this is so far out. 37 levels high!' I wrap my arms around her and whisper 'you're really surprised?'~ she nods. I spin her around and say 'I wanna take you out later.' Peyton smiles and swings our arms. She plays with her bracelets and says 'first you need to catch me first.'~ she runs into the other room.
          I chase Peyton through the kitchen and theater. Right when I get to the master room she slams the door. I knock on it and say 'Peyton open the door.'~ no answer. I knock again and say 'Peyton Gianna Coleman, if you don't open the door we're not going out tonight!' The door slowly opens and I see Peyton in a jumpsuit.~ she holding it up from the back. I tie it for her and say 'you look stunning.'~ she blushes. I look for my suitcase and pull out a Polo and some pants. I quickly change and see Peyton is swinging her feet over the pool. I sneak up behind her~ she jumps and falls into the pool. Peyton pops out from the water and get out. She swings her arm at me and I grab it. She looks into my eyes and says 'stop scaring me. I'm sick of it.' I pick up a towel and wrap her around it. I kiss her forehead and whisper 'I'm sorry babe. You know I don't mean it.' Peyton rolls her eyes and whispers 'look what you did, my clothes are soaking.' I unwrap my arms around her waist and say 'go change, I promise I won't scare you again.'
Peyton's POV
           I change into another jumpsuit and I dry my hair. I look in the mirror and see Julia. I think of all the bad things she's been doing ever since she starting dating Bryan. My phone rings and I see the ID: Julia. I answer and see Julia drinking out of red cup and saying a bunch of random things. I hang up and mumble ' she's high.' I walk back out and see Jace looking out in the balcony. I slip on my shoes and put my phone in my pocket. I walk up to front door and yell 'I'M LEAVING JACE!'~ I hear footsteps running. Jace takes my hand and says 'let's bounce.' We walk on to the streets and head to sushi place. I take my chop sticks and throw them at Jace. Jace eyes widen and says 'what was that for?!' I pull out my phone and says 'this.' I take a picture . We finish our food and get dragon ice. Jace takes a video of me and I say 'stop, it's burns.'  Jace eats it and says 'you're such a baby, it doesn't burn.'~ I punch his arm. Jace smirks and says 'I love you.' I see Noah getting some ice cream and I leave the store. I head back to the hotel. Jace runs after me and says 'you're not gonna say it back?' I cross my arms and ignore him. I head back into the room and Jace says 'baby, what's wrong?' I sit in a chair and say 'you didn't who was there in the ice cream shop?'~ he shakes his head. I get up and say 'Noah. I saw him and he was looking straight at us.' I begin to feel uncomfortable~ I sit on the bed. My phone begins to ring. I groan and say 'what is it know?' I see the caller ID: Cam.
           I answer it and say 'what's up Cam?' I hear sniffs in the background. I speak louder and say 'Cameron? What's wrong?' My mom comes on and says 'sweetie, Julia's in the hospital. The paramedics found her in an alley. She's really injured.' I begin to cry and say 'when was this? She called me earlier today.' My mom sniffs and says 'about 4 hours ago.' I put my hands on my face and say 'I don't understand; she was at a party. She may have gotten drugged there. I don't know.' Jace bends down in front of me and says 'who's in the hospital?'~ I cover the phone and say 'Julia, she's been drugged.' My mom says 'Peyton, can you find a way to come back home. I'll buy you a ticket tonight.' I rub my temples and say 'I don't know mom, I told Julia not to parties but she doesn't listen. It's her fault she got drugged.'~ I hang up. Jace stands up and says 'so what are going to do?' I change into my pajamas and say 'I honestly don't know. She's my sister and all but she's been doing strange things ever since she started dating Bryan.' Jace pulls me closer and says 'we'll figure it out. I'll always be there for you.'
