** 3 days later **
Peyton's POV
           I slam the taxi door and head into my house. Jace jogs behind me and says 'are you planning on leaving your bags in the taxi?' I rub my head and say 'sorry I'm just really distracted.'~ I open my closet and grab some sweatpants. I grab my car keys and say 'ready to see what I call my sister?' We get in the car and drive to the hospital. I walk in and ask the nurse where Julia is staying. 4 th floor . We take the elevator and I immediately see my parents pacing back and forth. I walk up and my parents run to me. I softly push them away and say 'what have they said?' Cameron buds in and says 'Julia?'~ I turn around and Cameron says 'sorry Pey, I'm just seeing things now.' I put my hands in my pockets and say 'can she have visitors?'~ they nod. I slowly walk towards Julia's room and open the door. Julia looks up and says 'Peyton?'~ I roll my eyes and say 'don't be surprised I'm here; I was technically forced to see you.' Julia crosses her arms and says 'so why did you choose to come?'
          I lean against the door and say 'to teach you a fricking lesson!'~ Julia's eyes widen. I hold out my hands and say 'do you not remember when I came home pregnant one day because I went to a party! I was RAPED!' Julia rolls her eyes and says 'it's not my fault your ex is crazy about you! You don't understand my life. Everyone thinks because we're twins we have the same friends and we're popular. It's not like that; AT ALL! I'm tired of being your shadow... just following you around.' I fix my hair and say 'you don't always have to follow me. I make my own choices, unlike you who just does stupid things. Your "boyfriend" is such a bad example for you. Everyday your doing drugs or having sex with him; like what is going through your head. You're such a disappointment.' Julia begins to speak but I leave. I walk past my family and say 'I can't with her; I wish she wasn't my sister.' Jace takes my hand and says 'how was the "conversation?" I laugh and say 'it went to great. sarcastic . Jace gets into the drivers seat and says 'we're going somewhere where you can get a little more happy; cause you're bumming me off right now.'
Jace's POV
I pull up at my dad's restaurant and say 'remember this is where we eat the first time?'~ Peyton nods. We walk in and sit at our booth. I take Peyton's hand and look into her eyes. I flashback to when I first saw her post on Insta and how fascinated by her dedication. Peyton furrows her eyebrows and says 'Jace?.. is there something wrong with my face?'~ I nod and say 'you're extremely gorgeous.' Peyton rolls her eyes and says 'stop, I'm not in the mood.' She starts to pull her hands away and I grab them. Peyton sighs and says 'Jace.. I said I'm not in the mood.'~ I lift up her chin and whisper 'but I am.'~ we kiss. I whisper 'I don't care if people judge your sister I won't let them get to you.' Peyton gives me a weak smile and says 'I'm just tired of hearing that shit she does; people start assuming it's me.' I nod while I pay the bill. We leave the restaurant and head to the shore. We hold hands and I think 'how did I end up with a strong girl?' I pull out my phone and tweet " through thick and thin. @peytoncoleman . Peyton's phone buzzes and she says 'you're too cute.' I pull her closer and whisper 'I love you.' Peyton smiles and says 'I love you bum.'
We get into the car and I drive to my house. I walk into the kitchen and see a note; Jace, we went out to eat with your grandparents. We're gonna stay the night at their house.
I walk into the living room and see Peyton looking at all the family pictures. I sneak up behind her and whisper 'hey, I have good news. We have the house to ourselves.' Peyton's eyes light up and says 'are you lying?'~ I shake my head. Peyton says 'I'm sorry for being a bummer before, I'm just want to live my own life.'~ I wrap my arms around her waist and whisper 'you are. You're the most independent person I know; not including myself.'~ I smile. Peyton rolls her eyes and says 'you're such a a child! Every time we go out it's like I'm babysitting.'~ I pout. Peyton comes closer and says 'but you're my baby.'~ we kiss.
