** 1 week later**
Peyton's POV
I swipe my card and grab my bag. I leave the store and bump into someone; I drop my bag and phone. I go to grab my phone when I feel a hand on mine. I look up and see Noah. I quickly grab my things and start walking to the parking lot. I open the car and feel an arm wrap around my waist. I breathe in and whisper 'Noah, get the hell away from me.' Noah pulls me closer and says 'why would I do that?' I struggle to take Noah's arms off me but he tightens his grip. His arms roam my body. Noah laughs and says 'this is the girl Jace is dating?😂 You're pathetic.'; my eyes widen and I pound my fists on his chest. He grins and I punch his face. Noah lets go off me and I get into my car. I cover my face with my hands and look for my phone. I find it and call Jace.
[Jace] : hey baby.
[ Peyton]: (sniffs ) babe, Noah just harassed me 😭
[Jace] : what? babe are you alright? Where are you? I'm coming.
[Peyton]: I'm at the Grove. He just came out of nowhere. 😭
** pounding on the window **
OH MY GOD! JACE! hurry up!
[Jace]: I'm coming; I'm like 5 minutes away. Just drive to the front ok?
Jace's POV
I park my car and see Peyton's roll in. I get out of the car and Peyton runs into my arms. She buries her head into my chest and cries. I pull her closer and whisper 'I'm sorry babe. I wish I was there to protect you.' Peyton brushes her tears away and says ' I think I'm gonna head home.'~ she starts to walk away. I take her hand and say 'I'm coming with you.'~ she smiles. We get into our cars and drive to Peyton's house. We enter and I see Peyton's dad. I stand straighter and say 'nice to meet you Mr. Coleman.'~ I hold out my hand. He shakes it and says 'you must be Jace.'~ I nod. I was feeling military vibes. Peyton takes my hand and says 'we're gonna go down to the beach.' We walk down to the shore and lay down on the sand. Peyton rolls closer to me and says ' I love you.' I kiss her hands and say 'I love you more bub.'
SORRY, I haven't update in 3 weeks. 😁. I've been busy with school and I wanted to take a little break.
