chapter 11

Jace's POV
           I wake up to someone's head on my chest.~ Peyton. I smile and grab my phone. I tweet: love seeing my sunshine everyday ☀️. I go onto snapchat and take a picture : what I wake up to. Peyton moans and starts to run her eyes. She opens her eyes and says "Jace?"~ I laugh and say "morning." She cuddles closer to me and says " last night was amazing."~ I kiss her forehead and nod. Peyton grabs her phone and says "oh crap! I forgot I have practice today!"~ she gets out of bed and grabs her bags. I take my keys and say "I'll drive you home." We get into the car and Peyton's texting her sister. She puts her hands on her face and mumbles "my coach is gonna kill me." We pull up at her house and Peyton runs in and grabs her sports bag.
        We get to the field and Peyton opens the door. She steps out and comes back. She kisses me and says "bye babe. thanks for driving me."~ I wave and say " have a good practice."
Peyton's POV
        I run to the field while typing on my phone : late for practice. ⚽️ I shove my phone in my bag and quickly slip on my cleats. I put on my knee pads and get into line. I breathe in and say "fleeww." My coach walks down the line and says "LISTEN UP LADIES! WE HAVE THE CHAMPIONSHIP COMING UP! IF YOU WANNA WIN YOU HAVE TO WORK HARDER." ~ we all nod. The coach blows the whistle and we all grab a ball and practice. I find Julia and say "hey Jules." She rolls her eyes and says "where were you last night?!" I stand back and say "I went to Jace's house." Julia walks closer to me and whispers "you had luck last night. Mom and dad went out and didn't come back till later."~ I smirk. I look into Julia's eyes and say " I'm more of a ninja than you." 😏  Julia furrows her eyebrows and says "coach is choosing people for the scholarship today. I'm so nervous." I slap my head and whisper " I totally forgot."
         The whole team lines up to kick into the goal. I was in the middle. I was 2 away from my turn when I see a dirty blonde guy walk on the bleachers. I feel butterflies in my stomach. I close my eyes and say to myself "ok, Coleman. You need to make this goal; your school depends on this."  I open my eyes and it was my turn. I put the ball down and kick it. The goalie goes up and misses.~ I made the goal. I smile and walk away.
**after practice **
         The coach goes up to 5 people. Only 3 more people left. I cross my fingers and coach comes to me. She smiles and says "congrats Peyton! You got the scholarship." I smile and jump up.~ she hands me the paper. I see her walk to Maeve and Julia. I smile at them. The practice ends Maeve and Julia run up to me. We jump up and down~ we yell "WE GOT THE SCHOLARSHIP!" I go to my bag and grab my phone. I go on Twitter and tweet : got a scholarship for my dream school! 🎓 I feel arms wrap around my waist. I turn around and see Jace. I kiss him and he says "congrats."
Jace's POV
        I kiss Peyton and say "congrats." I intertwine our hands and head to my car. I start driving and say "we're going out." Peyton looks at me and says "really?" 😊 I nod.
