chapter 27

Jace's POV
          I get up from the table and wave to the directors. I call an uber and text Peyton. I look out the window and mumble 'how I want to be a director.' I hear a honk and see I'm outside Peyton's house.~ I thank the driver and get out. I walk around the house until I see Peyton's balcony. I climb up and see Peyton coming out of the shower. I quickly sit on her bed and right when she turns around she yells 'JACE NORMAN! WTF I'M NAKED!'~ I grin. I pull her closer and whisper 'but you're f**king gorgeous.' Peyton pulls away and says 'let me change.'~ I pout. I go on my phone and I get a text from Ryan; party tonight. You in? I reply; totally. Peyton comes back and says 'babe, do you wanna come with me to Venice? I have this shoot.'~ I nod. I jump off the bed and say 'so what's the shoot for?' 'It's for a magazine.'~ I take Peyton's bag and say 'you're accomplishing things babe.'~ she blushes. Peyton stood in front of me and says 'bring trunks in case.'~ she smiles.
** Venice**
Peyton's POV
             I slip into my bikini and I untie my hair. I lay in the sand and the photographer takes the pictures. We walk around the beach and take more pictures. The photographer shows me the pictures and says 'go ask the guy to come over here.' I wave at Jace and he comes over. The photographer talks to him and Jace whispers 'IM IN!'😂 I playfully roll my eyes and say 'you're a dork.' Jace and I stand in front of the ocean and I hear a click. We take more 'couple' pictures and I ask the photographer take one of us kissing. I post it and caption it; 🌹.

** at night // the party **
           I pull down my skirt because it was WAY too short. Jace pulls me closer to him and says 'don't let any guy come close to you.'~ I put my hand in his chest and I say 'you see this? This is our promise.'~ I hold out my ring. I look down at my shirt and sigh. I look around and see every girl looking like a slut. Jace comes back with a cup and says 'here.' I look inside and swirl my cup around~ I chug the drink down and I feel bad. Someone calls Jace's name and he heads to them. I walk around and find a crowd of girls. They instantly start telling me about all these parties. I was deep into a conversation when I feel arms wrap around my waist~ I think it's Jace until they whisper 'gorgeous come with me.' I turn around and see it's Noah. I push myself up the wall and start walking into the crowd. I instantly felt an anxiety attack.~ Noah grabs my arm and says 'you're coming with me.' He pulls me upstairs into a room and throws me on the bed. I throw my fists at him and yell but all he does is laugh.
He locks the door and says 'you know what Peyton?'~ I close my eyes as he talks. I feel his hand lift up my chin and he says 'look at me!'~ I turn my face away. Noah slaps me and says 'LOOK AT ME!' I feel my cheek throb as I cry in pain. Noah paces back and forth and says 'coming to these parties makes you look like a huge SLUT. Just because you come with a guy doesn't mean he's gonna be there with you the whole time. You knew that didn't you?'~ I shake my head. He comes closer and traces his finger around the hem of my shirt. I scoot back until I hit the bed frame. Noah pulls me closer to him and says 'this is what a SLUT like you deserves.'

THE NEXT MORNING
Jace's POV
I wake up on the floor and I have a major headache. I stand up WAY too fast and instantly feel like I'm gonna throw up. I pull out my phone and see it's 4:38 AM. I lean over the counter and think 'where's Peyton?' I head upstairs and look through all the rooms. I head to the master room and see Peyton curled up in a ball. I walk closer to her and I touch her arm. She wakes up and says 'DON'T TOUCH ME YOU ASSHOLE!'~ I stand back and say 'Peyton, what? She pulls the covers closer to her body and starts balling. I sit on the bed and pull her closer.~ I kiss her forehead. I look around and see Peyton's clothes everywhere. My eyes widen and I say 'what did you do in here?' She buries her head into my chest and says 'Noah raped me!' I close my eyes and I think 'I can't believe I just heard those words. Raped?'
