Peyton's POV
         I wake up in Jace's arms and rub my eyes. I turn to my side so I'm facing him~ I admire his features and think 'I'm too lucky to have a guy like this.' I ruffle Jace's hair and notice his hair is getting longer. Jace groans and mumbles something. I furrow my eyebrows and say 'what did you say?' Jace slowly opens his eyes and whispers 'I said, morning bub.'~ I smile. Jace tightens his grip around my waist and says 'I love you.'~ he leans closer to kiss me. I playfully slap his chest and say 'no way, I haven't even brushed my teeth.' Jace rolls his eyes and says 'but babeee, I wanna kiss you.' I start to move away but Jace says 'Peyton just a little peck? please? Then you can brush your teeth.'~ i playfully roll my eyes and say 'fine.' I give him a little peck and jump out of bed.
I walk into the bathroom and turn the shower on. I quickly shower and come back out.~ I see Jace just scrolling on his phone. I put my clothes on and say 'you better not be sending girls pictures.'~ Jace grins. I wrap my hair with the towel and say 'Jace... are you kidding?' I walk towards him and Jace throws his phone onto the other side of the bed. I lean over to grab the phone but Jace grabs my waist and pulls me towards his chest. I'm leaning against him and Jace says 'I wasn't texting girls babe. I'm kidding.'~ he kisses my forehead and whispers 'you're the only one.' I get up and say 'sure, we gotta head to my house so hurray up.' Jace gets up and says 'why is it so hard for you to believe me?' I pick up my phone and say 'I see you looking at other girls like I don't exists. I'm not blind.' Jace goes into the bathroom and shaves. He changes and says 'baby, give me your hand.'~ I give it to him. Jace fiddles with my ring and says 'this. This means I would NEVER treat you like shit. I promised I would always treat you like I should.' My phone buzzes and I say 'we gotta go.'
Jace's POV
During the drive to Peyton's house I hold her hand the entire time. We pull up into her driveway and I say 'Pey, look at me. Tell what's going on.'~ she looks out the window. I turn her chin towards me and I say 'babe, please talk to me. I don't wanna be on bad terms.' Peyton fiddles with her ring and whispers 'I'm scared.'~ I furrow my eyebrows and say 'scared?' Peyton sniffs and says 'yeah. I know I'm stupid. I'm just scared of loosing you. Everyday I wake up to people sending me comments like you don't deserve Jace. He belongs with someone else.'~ I rub her back and say 'I'm so sorry baby, I didn't know this was happening. It scares me that you're thinking like that. You need to know that I'll always be here with you.'~ I hug her. Peyton gives me a weak smile and I say 'come on, we have to help your sister.' We head into her house and find her family rushing throughout the house. Peyton heads upstairs to her sister's room. I peek into Julia's room and see her taking pills. She sees me and throws the pills into a drawer. I lean against the doorframe and say 'why are you doing this to yourself? You're family tried to help you.' Julia stands up and says 'because no one in this family gives a shit about me! They think Peyton is better. Like she said I'm a disgrace.'
Julia sits on her bed and says ' I know you don't know me well but would you agree with Peyton about me being a disgrace?'~ I furrow my eyebrows and say 'I really shouldn't. I then hear Peyton calling my name. I leave Julia's room and see Peyton standing in front of the mirror in a dress.
Julia's POV
Jace walks away and I open the drawer again.~ I hold the pill bottle in my hand and think about what Jace said. I throw the bottle across the room and the pills spill on the floor. My phone rings; Bryan. I see the text; can't wait to see you tonight. I instantly think of what Peyton said in the hospital ' Your "boyfriend" is such a bad example for you. Everyday you're doing drugs or having sex with him; like what is going through your head.' I text him back; can't. maybe another time. I leave my phone on my bed and head downstairs. I walk pass Peyton's room and see Jace admiring her.~ she looks up and we make eye contact. I hurray downstairs and see my other sister Alex doing her hair. I help her and I tell her about Bryan. Alex turns to me and says 'Julia, break up with him. Honestly no one in the family likes him but you.'~ I put down the curling wand and say 'I know I should but he's like really intense.' Alex flips her hair and says 'whatever floats your boat; finish my hair. we need to leave in 20 minutes.' I finish her hair and she runs to change into her dress. I head back upstairs and quickly change into my dress. My mom comes in and says 'Julia, can we talk?'~ I see the bottle of pills and shake my head.
I slip on my shoes and say 'I don't really talk right now mom. Today is about Alex not me. Like always.' I walk into the hallway and bump into Peyton.~ her ring falls off. I bend down to pick it up but Peyton says 'don't touch my ring.' I fix my dress and say 'Peyton! Stop ignoring me!'~ she picks up the ring and walks away.
