Ricky pushed the door to the pub open, the Mexico heat causing sweat to drop down his forehead.
He was surprised he could run for that long, that quick, but he did. With no break, he made it to Mexico in ten minutes. It was only the heat that made him want to die.
"Can I please speak to K?" He asked, his throat dry.
Seconds later, K emerged from the small crowd of people, her eyes narrowed in confusion.
"Ricky, what're you doing here?"
Ricky sighed, "I need you to do a locating spell on someone."
Frowning, K ordered for someone to get Ricky a glass of water and directed him to a spare table.
"Who and why?"
"Nikki. Nikki Misery." He answered, thankful when a woman handed him a cold glass of water.
"Do you have anything of his?" She questioned, grabbing a few things out of her bag.
He shook his head, setting the empty glass down, "I expected you to."
K pursed her lips before addressing she'd be back, wondering upstairs to find an old shirt of Nikki's.
Despite the multiple glares Ricky was receiving, he kept his head down.
It was only a matter of time before Ryan caught up to him, or someone else caught him. He was prepared for both, because at any given second someone could kill him. Mortal or not.
K returned minutes later, an old shirt in her hand, "You're in luck, but I'd like to ask why you need me to do this before performing anything."
Ricky licked his lips, sitting up, "Nikki was taken, an I'd like to know where so I can get him back."
She nodded, setting everything she needed down and started the spell.
Everyone in the bar knew to be quiet when she was performing something. Whether they wanted to or not, it was respectful, and required.
Several minutes passed before K opened her eyes with a loud gasp, "I-I know where he is, but it's not good. It'll take more than you."
Ricky shook his head, "No, trust me, I know what I'm doing. I've got it all planned out..."
K, too, shook her head, leaning forward, "You don't know what this guy is capable of, Ricky."
"Like I said, I've got it all planned out."
Though K was more than worried about Ricky, she gave him the location and he went on his way, wasting no time.
He didn't lie; he had it all planned out. But, it wasn't a plan he wanted to carry out. Not when it involved leaving Ryan, again.

The ten friends stood in the alley of the run down building, each trying to come up with a plan.
"We can't go up against him." Kuza mumbled, "We may as well shoot ourselves right here, right now."
"I don't care," Ryan snapped, "I don't care if I 'may as well' do that. I'm not letting Ricky go there alone. Knowing him, he's got an idea, and not a good one."
"Ryan's right," Lynn mumbled, "The only way to get Ricky and Nikki back safely is to go there ourselves and get them."
Ghost nodded in agreement, apologising in advance to Kuza, "We've been up against Michael before, there's absolutely no way Ricky can do it on his own. Hell, the ten of us are going to struggle."
Chris bit his lip, "You said this guy has Angels and Demons on his side. How does that work?"
Kuza pursed his lips, "When a light creature comes in contact with a dark, all Hell breaks loose. Either the light creature can turn the dark, or the dark can turn the light. If the dark succeeds, they have Angels and creatures as such on their side. The more they have, the easier it is to turn other creatures."
Ghost decided to continue from where Kuza was going, "Michael used to be an Angel, but he was cast out of Heaven for having wrong thoughts about the Demons. Of course, he went to the demons and changed himself. For thousands, if not millions, of years, he's been building up an army for a war. Since then, he's wanted one against the light creatures. Because he's got the numbers, he has a chance."
Ryan then continued, "Ricky, being more light than dark, is another person Michael can use for a soldier. I can't let that happen, you guys know that."
Ashley frowned, shaking her head, "I don't get it. Nikki is a demon, naturally dark, but he's been able to control himself. What does Michael need with him?"
"A stronger soldier." Chris mumbled, "You guys said so yourself, he uses people as soldiers. If a dark can control how they act, they're practically a threat. Besides, he's going to need all of the people he can if he actually wants to go through with this."
Brian bit his lip, "So, where do we come in? Are we going to join forces with the light creatures and go through with this?"
It was silent as each of them shared a look.
After spending hundreds of years living the way they do, none of them were able to sit still and watch bad things happen to the ones they loved. They were all a family. If one was taken, they'd all do whatever they can to get them back. If that meant starting a war that could wipe out millions of creatures including themselves, so be it.
Ryan nodded, "That's exactly what we're going to do."
