Ricky laid with his head on Ryan's chest, his calm breathing soothing.
It had been almost three hours since Ryan fell asleep, and the whole time Ricky stayed awake, wanting to spend as much time as he could there, with Ryan.
He knew it was wrong to leave, especially after what they just experienced together, but it needed to be done. Nikki was Ricky's friend. He saved Ricky, so it was only right he returned the favour. Because, if not for Nikki, Ricky wouldn't even be with Ryan.
Finally, the two had showed each other just how much they loved each other, and Ricky was the one leaving.
There was no doubt Ryan would go looking for him, because Ryan actually knew where this person was, but Ricky knew a few witches.
Though Ryan was asleep, Ricky leaned up and lightly kissed his cheek, whispering, "I love you."
With that, he carefully slipped out of Ryan's arms and off of the bed, dressing himself in a few seconds.
"Ryan, I know you said you didn't want me getting hurt, but I'd rather me than you. I know you'll come after me, but I'm already ahead of you. Considering you know where this guy is, you'll just head straight there. I wish I could stop you, but you're worse than me when it comes to sitting still. Last night was amazing, and I'm sorry to leave right after, I really am, but it was the only opportunity I had. You have no idea how much I love you, Ryan. If I fail, that'll be the end. As much as I don't want to leave you, it's what I have to do. I love you, Ryan.
-Ricky xxx."
With nothing but the letter as evidence that he left, Ricky walked out of the house, heading down the street to wherever his legs took him.
After a few minutes, he started to sing a song he heard Ghost singing a few times, one that felt right to sing at the time.
"I walk a lonely road,
The only one that I have ever known, Don't know where it goes,
But it's home to me and I walk alone.
I walk this empty street,
On the Boulevard of Broken Dreams,
Where the city sleeps,
And I'm the only one and I walk alone.
I walk alone,
I walk alone,
I walk alone."

Ryan let out a small yawn, a smile on his face as last nights memories came rushing back.
Ricky was a virgin, so for him to put his trust in Ryan was something he couldn't let go of.
With a smile, Ryan turned his head, expecting to see his lover, only to see empty sheets.
Slowly, he sat up, "Ricky?"
After receiving no answer, Ryan rolled out of the bed and threw his boxers and jeans on, calling out for Ricky again.
Again, he got no answer. The only thing that stuck out in the room, was a letter on the dressing table, one that Ryan knew wasn't there the night before.
He carefully picked it up, tears in his eyes as they caught every word that was written.
Many thoughts and possibilities ran through his head, but he didn't wait for any of them to come to a conclusion before he came to one himself.
He picked his shirt up off the ground and threw it over his shoulders, not bothering with the buttons before running out of the room whilst calling for Ashley.
She ran out, her hair messy and clothes only just thrown on, "What's wrong- Wait, why're you cry-"
"Ricky left," Ryan said before throwing his socks and shoes on, "I'm going to find him. You can come, or stay, up to you."
After successfully getting his shoes on, Ryan walked down the stairs whilst Ashley ran back into her room and grabbed a pair of socks and boots.
She hadn't known Ryan–or Ricky too well,–but she did trust him. She saw how much they loved each other, and if she could help get them back together, she would. Besides, Ricky left for Nikki. It was the least Ashley could do.
In Ryan's head, though, he was thinking completely different things. Only then did he know how Ricky felt when he left the first time, but they hadn't even had a relationship then. Really, it was hard on both of them. But neither of them were going to give in. Ricky wouldn't stop until he found Nikki, and Ryan wouldn't stop until he found Ricky. It could only end in three ways.
One, Ricky and Nikki found their way back to Ryan and Ashley with no harm done and they could go on their way. Which, would be the best case scenario if you were to ask anyone.
Two, Ricky–or Nikki–get hurt, or, dare he think about it, die, leaving Ryan alone. That was the worst. Even if the third way would be Ryan dying. Because, if Ricky were to die for a second time, there'd be no coming back. Then Ryan had two choices. He could either end it and somehow find Ricky in his last afterlife, or he lives a life without a reason.
Out of all three, Ryan was hoping the first one would be carried out.
He and Ashley walked down the road, doing so for at least an hour before Ryan sighed.
"Do you have a phone?" He asked, and Ashley shook her head before plucking one out of a humans hands.
"Hey-" The human was about to snatch it back before Ashley growled, her eyes red.
Once he had the phone, Ryan dialled a familiar number.
"Hello?"
"Chris, I-I need your help." Ryan mumbled, "I need everyone's help."
"What happened?" Chris frowned, snapping his fingers to gather everyone's attention whilst putting Ryan on speaker phone.
"Ricky, he-he left last night." Ryan said, not knowing what else to say, or how else to say it.
"He what?" Lynn gawked, her eyes wide.
"I don't know. I woke up, and there was a letter saying he left to go get Nikki. I don't know if he's okay, or if he's still in America, or if-"
"Ryan," Angelo cut him off, biting his lip, "We're on our way. Just give us an address, and we'll be there in no time. Okay?"
Taking a deep breath, Ryan replied with a small, "Okay."
