No one knew where it came from, but a siren was heard through out the field. The loud noise was what signalled Michael's men to start. Instead of leading his men, though, Michael stretched his wings and grabbed Ricky with one hand, and Nikki with the other. Whilst his soldiers moved forward and attacked the light, he flew over the creatures and to the castle that stood over the hill. Luckily, Michael didn't go unnoticed.

Just as he took out a warlock, Ryan looked up at Michael.

Chris, also noticing what Michael had done, yelled for Ryan, "Take Ashley and follow him! We've got this."

Ryan slit a demons throat, then turned to Chris, "Are you-"

"Go!"

Ryan grabbed Ashley by her arm and dragged her through the army of light creatures, not wanting to miss the chance to get Nikki and Ricky back.

Michael was not only a dark Angel, but many different breeds. After mixing the blood of other creatures with his, he was able to create something strong, and something that few people had seen. They thought taking down Ronnie would be hard, Michael will be harder.

As Ashley and Ryan approached the castle, all of the inside lights went dim.

"How do we know where they are?" Ashley whispered, tip toeing through the entrance.

"Listen carefully." Ryan answered, his voice just as quiet.

With Ryan's enhanced hearing, it was easy to hear a pin drop, but he knew how Michael thought. He'd be as quiet as he could, and he'd keep his victims quieter. That didn't stop Ryan from keeping an ear out, though.

Ashley stayed close to Ryan and, having no trouble seeing in the dark, took the lead by a few steps.

Her love for Nikki only grew by the days, and it had been millions since they first met. They had been torn apart from each other a handful of times, but always found their way back to each other. Now may've been a little different, but she wasn't going to give up. Especially when one of her friends were there, as well.

Ryan stopped walking and held a hand out to stop Ashley, too, his ears strained.

He heard something. He didn't know what it was, but he could smell Ricky's blood from his position.

He may not have been able to see, but he was easily able to tell which way to go just by the drops of Ricky's blood.

With Ryan now taking the lead, the two made their way up the many stairs, stopping at the last level.

Ryan turned to Ashley, signalling for her to stay behind him.

She nodded, following his orders.

Ryan tip toed to the last door on the left and pressed his ear against it, only just catching the small drops of blood from Ricky.

He took a step back and raised his leg, kicking the door in to reveal an empty room. Well, there was a blade sitting on a bedside table with blood dripping down it, but that was it.

"Ryan!"

Quickly, he spun around, his eyes wide as they landed on Michael and Ashley, Michael's arm around Ashley's throat.

She clawed at his arm, fighting for her breath.

"Michael," Ryan snapped, jaw clenched, "Let her go and tell me where they are."

Michael smirked, shaking his head as he sniffed up Ashley's neck, "I like this one. Is this Misery's chick?"

Ryan glared at him, not answering.

"What a waste." Michael murmured, about to continue before a different voice was heard.

"Michael," Ghost said from his place at the other side of the hallway, "Is that any way to treat a lady?"

It was a good distraction, because Michael turned his attention to Ghost instead of Ryan, allowing him to kick the back of Michael's leg and grab Ashley.

"You two go find Ricky and Nikki." Ryan said, looking down at Michael.

"Will you be okay?" Ashley asked.

"Yes, now go."

The two did as Ryan was told and left him and Michael in the hallway.

"I like Ricky," Michael chirped, jumping to his feet, "He's very cute. He's a screamer, too. Though, you already know that."

Ryan let out a growl and punched Michael in the jaw, doing it several times until he was on the ground.

He had the lead for a few more seconds before Michael set a fire in the palm of his hand, pressing it against Ryan's ribs.

He let out a yell and fell to the ground, holding a hand over his burning side. He wasn't ready to give up, no. He stuck his leg out and kicked Michael's ankles, causing him to drop.

Ryan pulled him up by his collar and smashed his back against the wall.

It was very sloppy fighting, as both were injured, but neither were willing to let the other win. Michael had been waiting millenniums to take out every light creature, and Ryan had been waiting centuries to take out Michael. One or both were going to fall down.

Just as Ryan was about to get another hit in, Michael raised a hand and created a force strong enough to throw Ryan against the opposite wall.

Tisking, Michael shook his head, "You really shouldn't have come here. You died for, what? The king's son? Please," Michael scoffed, "You should've known someone like him would never go for someone like you."

"That's where you're wrong!" Ricky yelled from the end of the hall, a sword in one hand, "You should've known someone like you could never win a fight like this." He skidded the sword across the ground, smirking when Ryan grabbed it.

"People like you don't even deserve to be in Hell." Ryan snarled as he dug the blade through Michael's chest, "I hope they send you somewhere where you suffer."

He then pulled the blade out and slid it across Michael's neck, dropping it to the floor just as Michael's body did.

Ryan's breathing was heavy as he turned to Ricky, not making a single move.

Ricky stood his place, too, "I'm sorry, Ryan. It was wrong of me, and... I don't know. I'm sorry."

Ryan ignored every bit of pain shooting through his body and used his full speed to run to Ricky and tackle him in a hug.

"Don't ever do that again." Ryan mumbled, burying his head into Ricky's hair.

"I won't." Ricky whispered.

He pulled away and rested his head on Ryan's chest.

"It's over." Chris said as he turned the corner.

"What do you mean?" Ryan asked, frowning.

"I don't know what you did, but all of the dark creatures just dropped. Just like that." He explained, slowly nodding his head.

Ryan let out a small sigh of relief, "Thank fuck. But, we still need to clean up our mess." He looked down at Ricky, "You coming?"

He nodded and followed Ryan out, his eyes wide at the field full of fallen dark creatures.

Then, he truly believed it was over, because what else did they have to fight? Every dark creature that had been come over were gone. What else was left?
