Forty two

It's now Friday and I'm so glad that I haven't got to see Jon, I'm finding it extremely hard.

Being in his English class is frustrating to say the least, just seeing him move makes my heart melt, I have to literally fight the urge not to put my hand up and say 'sir sitting here now I've realized I've been a total fool but I'm madly in love with you, can we give us another go?'

I'm leaving school when Lana chases me down the steps screaming at me.

"So you,  what you up too?" She said linking arms with me.

"Well me, I have a interesting evening of watching my dork of a brother on the X box" I informed her.

"Well your not anymore" she said "your coming to the grill with me and Hayden and the new guy."

"New guy?" I questioned her I didn't even know there was a new guy in school but my minds been somewhere else.

"Yeah the hot new student that arrived, you know the one I said was extremely sexy, His put Mr Bernthal on my number two on my Hotstuff list"

"Your a idiot" I shook my head as I walked "and you have a boyfriend" I reminded her.

"Yeah his number three" she giggled "here they come now" she pointed.

I see Hayden walking over with some guy that I must admit was extremely good looking.

"You girls ready?" Hayden asked us.

"Yeah" Lana said wrapping her arms around him as they walked off in front leaving me with this new school hottie.

After an really long awkward silence as we walked this guy clears his throat getting my attention.

"So your the Peyton Reedus that I've heard so much about?" He said looking at me while we walk.

"Well it depends if it's all good or not" I chuckled nervously.

"It's all good, Lana has talked you up good" he informed me.

"Well that's nice of her, and I'd say the same about you to but I honestly don't know who you are, she might of mentioned you but my heads been else where"

"I'm Daniel" he said introducing himself to me "I'm in your history class"

"Really?" I look at him embarrassed he nods "Well it's nice to meet you Daniel" I smiled as we walked.

We had all been at the grill for a while talking and I was really getting on with this Daniel guy he was fun and extremely good looking.

I was laughing and slightly flirting with Daniel when I get nudged in the side discreetly by Lana, I look at her and she leans in whispering in my ear.

"Ex at bar" I look over seeing Jon sitting there drinking a whiskey.

"Who fancies a game of pool?" Lana suggested I nod my head getting up.

While we was playing and I was doing extremely awful I saw Jon keep looking over. Daniel wraps his arms around me helping me with the pool cue he pulled me in close to his body running his hands down my body.

I see Jon slam his glass down on the bar getting up about to walk over but thankfully Lana noticed to and walks over to Jon calming the situation.

All weekend I hung out with Lana Hayden and Daniel, Daniel was a awesome guy and I did fancy him a lot but the thought of dating another guy in front of Jon I wasn't sure I could do that.

Monday arrives that meant English with Jon, but this English lesson was going to go from bad for worse for me as Daniel had gotten transferred to Jon's class.

I sit at my desk as Daniel hands Jon a form, Jon looks him up and down like he was a piece of trash.

"Well this class just got a lot more interesting" Lana whispered to me.

"You think?" I muttered.

Halfway through class I felt eyes on me I look up seeing Jon staring at me, I look at him for a second before turning see Daniel looking at me.

I smile at him before looking at Jon who was watching us I look at Jon before looking down carrying on with my work.

The bell goes and I gather my stuff ready to leave walking to the door with Lana and Daniel "Peyton do you have a minute?" Jon asked.

I look around at him as he sits there at his desk "I guess" I sighed turning to look at Lana and Daniel "go both of you, I will see you tomorrow"

I watch Lana close the door behind her as she leaves leaving me alone with Jon, I stand there not moving unsure of what to do, I did the only thing that I could I waited for Jon to talk first.

"So you and the guy?" Jon asked me.

"Daniel" I informed him he nods his head.

"Yeah him"

"We just friends" I pointed out.

"Just friends? Last time I checked I didn't go around touching my friends like he did to you at the grill, he had his hands all over you"

"We just friends" I said again trying to get it through to him "if that's it I'd like to go now"

I turn to leave heading for the door "I love you" Jon said causing me to stop in my tracks staring at the door, I fight the urge to say it back, I wanted to run over be in his arms but I couldn't go there. I huff out opening the door walking out.
