Chapter 7 - DNA

-Louis' POV-

The ride up was pretty quiet, Roxy fell asleep while listening to music. At the red light I decided to look at what she was listening to. The artist was Little Mix and the song was called DNA. I didn't really know the artist or the song... I'll check it out later.

As I parked my car in the garage I shared with my neighbours. I carried Roxy inside and dropped her bag on the kitchen counter. I plopped her down on my bed and tucked her in the covers and kissed her head,

"Goodnight, beautiful."

I said and went in the kitchen, I checked my phone and saw texts from Niall, Zayn, Liam and Harry

Niall: Yo bro, where r u 2day?

Louis? R we being invaded by aliens???? Did they kidnap u and steal ur phone?? Is an Alien reading this right now... Idk him mr alien dude...

I laughed at Nialls curiosity,

Zayn: Hey mate, where r u? Did u get to snog 'the love of ur life'? Is that y ur making Niall worried about an alien invasion?

Harry: Hey, Louis! How did the date go?

Louis? r U there?

If the reason to have a phone is to text ur best friend, then u shouldnt have one!!!

Liam: Hey Louis, text me if your coming to my party tomorrow night

Liam's party tomorrow night? Damn, I forgot! I texted them back

To Niall: Hey buddy, I'm fine! No alien invasion. I'll explain tomorrow :)

To Zayn: No I'm not snogging her!? You cheeky nugget! I'll explain tomorrow dude.

To Harry: Hey mate, the date went well! Thanks for all of your help! I brought Roxy home... i'll explain tomorrow. Ttyl boo.

To Liam: Hey dude, can I bring a date to the party...?

I turned off my phone and was startled when I saw Roxy standing right infront of me,

"Thanks for carrying me in."

She grinned and walked back into my room, I followed her and I saw that she was typing something on her phone,

"What ya doin'?"

I asked her not trying to sound too eager,

"Texting your boyfriend, what does it look like?"

I laughed at how bittersweet her sarcasm felt, before I could say anything else I heard music come from her phone,

"It's in his DNA, D-D-D-DNA

The music stopped and Roxy answered the phone. The music sounded kind of dark and there was a chorus of girls... Was that part of the song Roxy was listening to in the car?

"Hello?.... Oh Hi Jem, I'm just over at Kaylas, don't worry my homeworks all done and we were just sleeping and your call woke me up..."

She lied, who was Jem...?
