Weeks later Cynthia was still getting those scraps of paper, those barely legible scribbles. She'd posted it on her blog again and again, trying to get a reaction. She began to lose weight. She didn't know how and why these messages were affecting her, but they were.
Nothing had scared her this much before.

Nothing ever did.
Life really had it in for her this time.
What had she done now?!
Suddenly.
That all too familiar sound.
Paper slid under the door.
"Fuck!" This was the last straw. Frantically shoving clothing into a rucksack, Cynthia decided to leave.
