Amaryllis Roman
The rest of the day seemed to fly by, as the final bell rung signaling the end of the day. I sighed in contentment as I walked out of english bidding Nike goodbye. I made my way to my car, as fast as I could, dodging the sea of students pushing and shoving each other.
I finally made it out of the school as I practically ran to my car, when I saw Alex walking to his motorcycle, which was parked not too far from my car.
It wasn't like I was avoiding him... I just really needed to get to the library, it was important.
Ok maybe I was avoiding him, but it was only because I was skeptical about this so called date I owed him. Maybe I was being over dramatic, but I did not want to deal with Alex and his flittering feelings. I'm sure this was just a phase for him or something.
You know date the geek just for kicks or something. Throwing my hair into a pony tail I threw my books in the back of the car and slid into the drivers seat.
My beamer roared to life as I reversed out of the parking lot and drove out of the school. I took a shortcut to the library as I drove down a little forest behind the school. It was big enough to hide in, but small enough to not get lost in.
Soon enough I reached the library just as my phone pinged.
"Hey can we talk for a minute? Where are you?"
It was Alex.
I sighed as I grabbed my bag and locked my car.
"Sorry I had some last minute work to do I'm not in the school maybe next time?"
I pushed the doors to the library open and walked past the front desk, giving Arnold a nod. My phone pinged again as I walked up the stairs.
"Yea sure, where are you anyways?"
I replied with only one word, shoving my phone into my pocket.
"Library."
I reached third floor and walked all the way to the end, where the empty table was and set my bag down. I then walked to the last bookshelf and grabbed the Roman book, setting it down.
I pulled my necklace out of my shirt and touched the stone. As it started to glow I looked around hoping to see Chaos.
"Um...Chaos...I don't really know how to summon...are you there?" I called out. A few seconds past and no one came.
"Well now I feel stupid." I said defeated.
"You shouldn't, atleast now you know how to use the necklace." I didn't even have to turn around to know that it was Chaos. He slowly walked behind me until he came around and took a seat on my left side.
"Im impressed, no screaming or fainting. Am I losing my touch?" I snorted.
"No I'm just use to you now." Chaos frowned.
"Anyways, I called you here beacuse I might have an idea on how we can help Death. But, before I say anything I want answers." I said as Chaos leaned forward.
"I've already told you, everything you need to know."
"Yes, but not everything I want to know." I said crossing my arms over my chest. Chaos watched me as he thought for a moment.
