A cold gush of wind enveloped me as I hurriedly picked up my bag. It was a long day for me in school and if it weren't for my grades, I wouldn't like to stay in our classroom much longer.
Dusk came. I was getting fidgety knowing that mom was waiting for me. She doesn't like me going home by nightfall. But what could I do? My teacher gave me a task and I promised to finish it this day. I was about to turn back when the door suddenly slammed shut. I almost shouted in surprise. I drew several deep breaths to pacify myself. Then I heard raindrops outside. I groaned aloud. Why is this happening to? What could happen next?
I made my way to the door and turned the knob. I frowned when it doesn't even budge. I tried again. Again and again. I shouted in exasperation. The hell with this door?!"It's too late." I shifted my eyes directly to the girl outside the window. I can't clearly see her face, though. But I know she was looking intently back at me. I sighed in relief.
"Wow. Thank god you're here. Can you please let me out? I'm locked. The door is not good. " I smiled a little.
It's as if I feel a shiver down my spine when I saw her flashed a smile. A wicked smile.
"It's too late for you. I gave you the hint but you took no notice to it. Game over." I frowned. What is she saying?
There was a flicker of light behind her and when I saw her face, I was stunned momentarily realization dawned on me.
It couldn't be her!
