Michael smiles happily in his sleep, Luke watched him from afar. He only wished to do that all day. He knew, he couldn't. Luke sighed leaving the boy with blond hair, to sleep peacefully.

Luke scribbled a quick note to michael, putting it on the table, leaving out the front door. A smile crept onto Luke's face, one he couldn't help-or stop. So, Luke let himself smile freely, to show the world how he is really feeling deep inside in this moment.

Walking down the sidewalks of this town he lived in all his life, never felt so different. He never thought of how things would be this way. Never, not in a million years. He felt joyful.

He found himself wander around shops, talking to strangers, and even laughing. He was inspired. He found a cafe in a deserted street, vacant, but fascinating. It was brown, the brown looked beautiful and decent. He couldn't understand why it was so misunderstood. Luke stepped inside, taking in all the cafe offered. It took all his breaths away. It had all shades of browns, bricks of homemade, tiddy places to eat or sit. The frames of quotes and cute things made it even more breathless. He wasn't sure why it felt so amazing to him.

So, Luke walked up and bought a coffee and two donuts. He had to wait for his order, but he was extremely patient today. Nothing could've brought down his happiness. When he paid for his food, he was feeling generous, leaving a tip with it. Then, he smiled brightly to show he was sure, leaving with the small box of donuts and coffee.

Luke shut the front door lightly, the coffee and donuts in his arms. He didn't hear any sudden noises from inside the house.

"Michael?" Luke called out.

Soft footstep belonging to Michael. Michael emerged from their room, to find Luke standing there with donuts and a soft shiny look in his eyes.

"Hey, Luke. I.. What's-"

Luke cut him off by handing him a donut.

"I found this cafe, and i wanted to give you something."

"Is it any good?"

"Hmm. I don't know."

Michael laughed, hitting Luke softly on the arm.

"Luke!"

Luke grinned.

Michael took a bite. It tasted like nothing else he'd ever had. He felt satisfied. Luke was still looking at him, looking for a reaction. Michael looked up, he saw Luke had already at his own donut.

"It's good."

"You're not just saying that to be polite?"

"No!"

"Good."

"Hey, Michael?"

"Hmm."

"We should go on a date."

Michael practically choked, catching Luke by surprise.

"Oh god.... Michael, are you okay?"

"I... I'm fine Luke. Yes, I'll go on a date with you."

Luke let go of a breath he hasn't known he'd been holding in. He could relax a little more now.

"Tonight. Wear something casual, not too classy."

Michael rolled his eyes.

"What makes you think I have anything fancy, Hemmings?"

"I....uh..."

Michael giggled, and walked away, leaving Luke speechless.
