Chapter 17

Luke was silent. They stayed on the line for a long time, silently.

"I-i have to go."

Luke hung up. Luke threw his phone across the room, making it hot the wall and break into pieces. Luke really wanted to think Michael wouldn't do this to him, but he couldn't.

'why would Michael want him anyways?' Luke thought to himself. Luke sighed, Michael was probably somewhere else, with Ashton.

Luke needed some relief from stress. He'd gotten worse after hearing the words Calum spoke. He had wanted to scream, to yell at someone.

His hair was a complete mess now. All over the place, his eyes wild and chaotic. He felt scared.

Luke paced back and fourth again in the house and sat for every few minutes. The cycle went on for another hour.

Then, the front door creaked open. Luke stood in an instant, felt a sick feeling in his stomach. Luke peeked his head out the bedroom. There was Michael, Michael smiling and bubbly. Oh. He is happy; happy with Ashton.

Luke stepped out of the bedroom, to where Michael stood. Michael looked up, guilt in his sad eyes, forcing Michael to look down instead.

"Where have you been?"

There was no emotion in his voice. None of the emotions Michael loved. No care in his voice anymore.

"At a coffee shop."

"With Ashton?"

"No! With my new friend. I met her on the bus."

"Okay, whatever."

Michael looked so small suddenly. He felt helpless. He couldn't understand what Luke's problem was. Michael walked away from Luke's cold heart.

Once Michael was safely out of Luke's reach, he was able to breath. But memories flew back in his face like a hurricane. His breathing heavy, he collapsed on the ground of the balcony. He pulled his legs to his chest, tears streaming down his face, sobs coming out of his mouth quietly.

He couldn't stop once it started. His heart aching for Luke. But he knew, Luke isn't coming for him.

He sat there for a hour, crying nonstop. He couldn't stop his heart from aching, and his mind to stop thinking about Luke.

He froze when he realized what really happened at the party. Michael was raped. Michael never wanted this, but he had no idea what to do.

Michael only cried harder, not caring anymore if anyone heard. His stomach tightened, and the panic in his chest rises even more. His heart ache being almost unbearable. Too much pain for himself to handle, falling asleep on the balcony, at the hands of his crying.

A/n omg this is so heart breaking why okay. Its so heart breaking even I want to cry aw :(( Luke is stubborn bc he thinks Michael actually cheated on him and Michael can't say anything bc ______ haha ok
