POV
Tobias reacts quickly, placing his hands gently on my cheeks. I gently put mine on his neck, feeling his tattoos. His lips were so soft. So tender. It makes me wonder how mine are.
We kiss again. He is so welcoming.
When I finally pull away I smile. It felt so right. "If there's one thing I learned its that we've definitely done that before."
"Agreed." He said with a grin
He smiles at me, "How about we go to that training session tomorrow and kick some ass."
"Agreed." I laugh in agreement.
He pulls me onto his bed.
"You know, maybe that child was ours." He says.
"Was it?" I ask.
"I'm sorry about what I did Tris. I'm such an asshole." He buries his face in my hair.
"Hey. Its alright." I turn around. "I'm over it. Completely forgiven, let's just not ruin the moment."
He nods, "Okay."
We share a genuine smile. I have a feeling this is just the beginning.
I spend the rest of the day with him, laughing, and truly living up the moment. For the first time, I don't care about my brain issues with memory loss as much.
When it got late, I kissed him one last time on the cheek and headed to bed. There were bacchanals roaming the halls, but I made my way around them easily.
The next day, I head down to breakfast bright and early, picked out a chocolate muffin, and sat down. No weird dreams yesterday. Thank god.
Christina and Uriah come by to sit with me too. They didn't know what happened last night.
"Hey Tris!" Christina says. I smile and wave with my hand since I am still chewing.
"Coming to training today this afternoon?" Uriah asks.
"Yea." I say. "How many people are there now?"
"Like 100 almost. Maybe 80 or so. We're thinking of dividing them up by skills so the equipment won't be so limited." Uriah says.
"Don't worry, you will have room for sure." Christina laughs. "I know you like your space."
I smile and Tobias comes to sit by me this time
"Hey." I smile.
"Hey." He replies.
Christina eyes me across the table with a smirk. She raises her eyebrows at me then shifts her eyes to Tobias. I glare at her playfully and nod. Her eyes widen and her mouth drops open. I just smile and look down at my food.
"Is everything okay with you two?" Uriah asks me and Chris.
"Yea. Everything's fine." I say.
He is taken aback, "Okayyy. Is everything okay with you two?" He asks me and Tobias.
Tobias smiles, "Yes everyone's okay. Are you?" And we all laugh. Uriah smirks and nods before resuming to eat.
LINEBREAK
Caleb POV
Cara comes up to me as I observe Tris's DNA blood tests in the lab.
"How much longer Caleb?" She asks.
"About another month at most. I'm almost done." I say. "Be prepared starting next week."
"You know I can go tomorrow." She says, "Zeke can meet us and then recruit me and everything."
