POV

I sit in Zeke's room as Christina leaves as well to witness.

"Hey Tris, you might want to go out to watch them, just in case you know, Christina carries tasks away." Zeke suggests. "Besides, I bet Tobias listens to you more." He winks.

I chuckle, "Alright." And take my leave. Uriah is the only invitee left in the room along with Zeke and Shauna. He's still unconscious.

Third person

"Did you do it?" Zeke hissed after Tris had exited for a few seconds.

"Yea. Every last one of the drinks. I made sure they all got 'spiked'." Shauna claims. "It should kick in as soon as they sleep according to Cara."

"Whew. I was so nervous about Tris. She's always on edge and suspicious. No doubt the strongest Divergent." Zeke says. "You did well."

"Good thing Caleb made it flavorless all around." Shauna laughs. "Way easier than I thought."

LINEBREAK

Tris POV

When I walk into the training room, there's already audible thudding. No doubt the sound of knives, thudding against targets.

I walk in and see Cara, pinned against the wall by Christina. Situations looked graver than I imagined

"What's going on?" I ask.

"She's not putting up with the deal of the dare." Christina says.

"You enforced them afterward. The dare was that Tobias had to throw 5 knives at me. He threw them all before you got here..." Cara says and points to the embedded weapons. Indeed there were five knives buried deep into the target

"No one was there to witness, he could've just stabbed them in." Christina says wickedly and motions to Tobias. "Do it again."

I narrowed my eyes in suspicion. This was not the Christina I knew.

The Christina I knew was much more forgiving, friendly, and reasonable. Maybe not reasonable but more sensual than this nonsense. She was intoxicated. From the beer earlier.

"No." Cara says. "You can't just assume!"

Christina smacks her, "Do it. Five knives don't hurt. Tobias just had a bit of beer too, could impair his vision slightly but nothing harsh."

"Stop. Everybody stop." I say. "This has gone way too far."

"Tris this isn't your business." Tobias turns.

"No it's not. It's your business." I turn to Christina. "Chris you aren't thinking clearly I think you're drunk. This is going too far."

"Tris do not get involved." Christina says. "Just throw the knives, Tobias. The sooner you do, the sooner we all leave."

He finally obliges and begins to pick up the knives.

Christina backs away, "Move at your own risk sucker. No flinching or eyes closed either or its redone."

As Tobias begins to walk back, I step too, in front of Cara.

"If you want to throw knives at her, you'll have to throw knives at me." I say.

"Tris." Tobias says, "Please step aside and stay out of this. It's just a dare."

"Exactly, and this dare has gone too far." I say firmly. "Your visions slowed down from the beer. Although it's not much, but your hits won't be nearly as precise."

Christina steps forward, infuriated.

"Chris," I say slowly. "Back off now."

"Why are you getting into this Tris?" Christina says in a slurred voice.
