I woke up, my head worse than earlier and feeling the the room was spinning. I forced myself up and walked to the bathroom and felt like I had to puke again. Luckily, I didn't. But I couldn't find pain killers.Groaning, I walked downstairs to find Steven, which didn't help anything for my headache. I got to the couch and belly flopped onto it, falling asleep as soon as I put my head down.

Something grabbed my foot, shaking and yanking me a little. My eyes shot open against the cushion, and I tried to turn and see who was there, unsucessfully. I felt another yank, and I swallowed hard. "Steven?" I tried, sure it was him trying to freak me out.

A low chuckle responded to me, a laugh that didn't belong to Steven. In a bit of a panic, I threw my free leg back, my foot connected square with whoever was there. I heard an oof and my foot was set free. I hopped off the couch and ran out of the livingroom. I spotted a baseball bat  the wall, and I raced to take it down. I held it in one hand and raced up to bedroom. I opened up the closet door and hid inside, bracing myself with the bat.

There wasn't any footsteps that I heard, so I open the closet doors, peeking out.

"Boo" a voice whispered behind me.

"No!" I swung the bat, feeling it hit something, and whoever was there fell with a thud.

"Damn," The voice laughed "I think you've missed your calling, Aims"

"Aims?" I repeated, and dropped the bat "Gabriel?"

Gabriel grinned a boyish smile and nodded "The one and only."

I gaped at him, dropping the bat "You're dead!"

"I know that. It's called dreaming." Gabriel pointed outas he got up, unhurt. Oh.

I stepped back a little "Alright.. so.. why are you here?"

"To save you. I'm like a.. guardian angel. Or Jesus." He laughed

"You're nothing like Jesus" I said, crossing my arms

"Whatever, that's not the point. The point is that you're sick. Like, seriously sick."

I raised an eyebrow and rolled my eyes "What? Because I puked earlier? My burger was probably undercooked, God."

"No, Amy." Gabriel sighed, shaking his head "Sick as in go to the hospital sick."

I shook my head "What, cause Dr. Ryan got something on my xray and thought it was something serious? Gabriel, relax."

"No, Amy, I won't relax. And yous houldn't be. It's bad. You need surgery!"

"No!" I hissed, glowering "I. Am. Fine."

"The fuck you are! I swear to God, you and Lizzie are fucking bulls." Gabriel spat

I laughed, turning away from him "Fuck off."

"You and her, hopeless. God."

"No we aren't!" I spun and clench my jaw "I'm fine. Lizzie will wake up. Nothing's wrong!"

"Just accept it. You need help. You need doctors. You need surgery."

"Get away from me!"

"I'm trying to help you!"

"I DON'T WANT YOUR HELP!" I screamed, shoving Gabriel and stormed out of the room.

"Fine!" Gabriel shouted after me "But the next time I see you, bitch, I better not be guiding you to the light.

I stopped and laughed turning to face Gabriel behind me. I grinned, giving him a confused look "Oh, my dear, don't worry about that." I sing-songed and swumg the bat again.

It collided with Gabriel's face, and then I woke up.
