A/N- this is actually a poem i did for school
Hit by a man
Always thought of as a primitive
Left with pain yet stood my ground.
They gather in their clan,
They hurt some more,
Same usual routine for our dark skin…
Even officials don’t care!
They allow the abuse to go its second round in the ring.
Soon, all of us will crack because we can’t bear it at all.
Thank the heavens for Johnson!
Civil Rights put into place
“Equality for all!” the people would shout,
A movement that will change
Everything we know and won’t let us fall.
