Numb but with a cry

Can't they see the lifelessness in my eyes?

Can't they hear my cries at night

When I beg sleep to take me to

Paradise?

They say I'm a parasite

I can't agree even more.

Everything you say is so right

Everything dies when i'm in sight.

All I want to see is afterlife

Can't it come now and

Save me

From these troubles that I fear

Each and every single day.

I have days that I'm alive-

Feeling every wound burn as it brakes.

I have days that I'm numb- wishing that I wasn't here to stay

I don't know the middle.

The stance between emotions

And a ghost.

I just know that I am both

And really wish I could see light.

All this hurts.

Days pass and years go.

Each sentence sharpening as time goes.

I am supposed to be stone,

But how can I when cracks get buried forevermore?

I have days that I'm alive-

Feeling every wound burn as it brakes.

I have days that I'm numb- wishing that I wasn't here to stay.

Nothing is right,

I'm not fine.

If I say that I am okay,

Know that it is a lie.

I need a hand to hold me close

If you stay,

Please don't let me go.

I cry each night knowing

That is what I don't have,

Someone willing and

Someone stable

Who will say:

"Let's go!

Dive through the night

Fight the demons at a high.

Kill those that torture you,

I'll always stay by your side!

We will see the light of day,

We will be the defenders of those who endure pain.

We will be the remedy to those who struggle to see one more day!"

Until then, I drown on my own.

With these demons and ghosts.

Those who are "friends"

And those who are real...

at most.
