Why can't we let things go.
Let them flow in the wind
Get them erased from our minds
Why does such simple things hurt us so bad?
inflict pain so deep that lasts.
Pain that scars but never heals
That which makes us act and not think of what we have done.
The sun falls the moon rises
Days come and go
Time flies yet we don't know how we stand.
Why oh why does it hurt so much
Why oh why does it cut so deep.
I trusted you with all my heart
I let you know things others didn't.
But then winter came and you passed by like a dart.
Didn't notice me;didn't say hi.
Just gave a look that said good bye
Never saw that smile on your face.
You were a great friend
but now I know its the end.
You said you were hurt then let me know.
Explain and enlighten cause I would love to know.
To help mend those fragile broken scars.
I would always be there for you but not anymore.
Just say it out loud!
Loud for the world to know!
Its all so f---ing Plain and clear.
I hear the rumors, I know the past! I know how you would act
say it right now!
You don't care! Nor will I!
Just get out and leave
Don't ever come back!
Don't speak, don't fight, don't even look me in the eye.
You said it was done
Then let me be a ghost in the past!
A ghost forgotten,
A ghost gone,
And a ghost that has been erased from those times!
