Mulder's POV
I woke up with a smile today, remembering what happened three days ago at the park. I can't believe someone like Dana Scully would have patience listening to me talking about aliens and other craps like what kids at school say. Her big, beautiful, blue eyes are cooperating every time I talk like I was some kind of a talking museum.
After I finished my breakfast I bid goodbye to my parents who were still eating, just when I was about to open the front door my mother called out.
"Fox, how was physics?" she asked.
"It's fine Mom," I answered about to step outside but my mother asked me again.
"Fine? Really? Wow, Fox, that's a change." Okay, my parents knew that I skipped physics class most of the time because it bored the hell out of me. All these equations and theorems make me dizzy. And every time she asked how physics was, I always answered that it sucks. And now that I answered that it's fine, for her, and even for my father who put down his newspaper and turned to look at me when I said that it was fine, was a miracle for them.
"Mom I have to go. Bye. See you later, Dad" I said while leaving and closing the door behind me. Even on the front porch, I can hear my mother gushing about how I like physics now I even heard her say to my father "Must be a girl is behind our son's sudden change of heart towards physics. And my father said, "Hmmm, maybe Diana convinced him."
I just shook my head as I walked into our front yard where my bicycle was waiting for me. Well, for a week now I've been using my bike as a means of transportation to go to school since my car was still in repair. -_-
As I was peddling my way to school I saw a familiar shoulder-level red-haired girl walking ahead of me. When I finally reached her "Good morning, skeptic Scully." I said with a smile. Then she turned and returned a smile too, and that was the sweetest smile I had ever seen. What? Did I just say that? Wait, am I admiring Scully's smile?
"Oh hi there, spooky Mulder." She said as that smile was still on her lips. And I feel like I blushed, so I just lowered my head and smiled a little.
Then after gaining my guts back, I looked at her and said "Where's your brother? He always takes you to school."
"He's in his university now. He's in college, so from now on, I will just walk going to school. It's not that far from our house anyway." She said.
"Oh." Then I don't know what's got into my spooky mind that I offered her this "Would you like to ride in my bicycle with me?" I offered as I looked at the back of my bike. She looked at it too.
"Well, I guess my butt could fit in there." She said chuckling. "And honestly my feet are killing me because my sister and I are chasing that raccoon early this morning to get out of our house and I hurt my feet a little by stepping on a rock." I just looked at her and that made her feel shy "Okay, I'm going to shut up now and ride with you." She added.
"That's a good idea," I said as she made herself comfortable sitting on my bike. "Hang on tight, we're about to...blast off!" and then she laughed. And it's the most beautiful sound I ever heard this morning.
When we arrived at school, people were looking at us like we were some kind of a shocking phenomenon. Well, I think we were. Who would've thought the school spook and the school weird, as she says about her, are arriving together on a bicycle? Scully noticed it but she just acted cool. Then my best friend Diana Fowley, approached me with all her cheerleader gear.
"Hi, Fox," Diana said but she's not looking at me. She's looking at Scully, head to foot. Scully was just standing there looking like a tigress with her guard up and ready to smack its enemy if that enemy would make a move first.
