Scully's POV
"Dana!!!" my dad shouted loud enough that the kind of heartbeat that I felt earlier was now fear. The headlights were so bright that I just felt my father's hand grab my right arm pulled me with all his force that it hurt.
"Dad! Please!" I begged. But he was so strong that someone grabbed my left hand.
It was Mulder.
"Sir, let me explain. It's not her fault. Please sir you are hurting her."
My dad let go of my arm and then walked towards Mulder. They are face-to-face now. And I've never seen my dad so mad like that. His jaws are so tight, eyes are so big looking at Mulder.
Then I looked at Mulder, he was still holding my hand. So tight. He was looking at my dad too, I could sense that he was nervous. His hand was shaking while holding mine but he's keeping his sight straight to Dad's.
"Who are you for telling me that I'm hurting my daughter?!" Dad shouted. "I will never forget what you did to her!"
"Sir, just let me explain. That night, someone set us up to show that I stood her up." Mulder explained still holding my hand. "And it was a misunderstanding" he looked at Brad, standing beside the car, "tell Mr. Scully, Brad. You and Diana set us up!"
Then Dad looked at Brad.
"You are crazy Mulder," Brad said sporting an innocent face. I want to punch him. "I would never do that. I would never do anything to hurt Dana."
When my dad looked back to Mulder, I looked at Brad, and that jerk jock smirked.
"Dad, Mulder is telling the truth!" I shouted.
Dad looked at me and said "You disobeyed me Dana. I can't believe it." for the first time Dad was disappointed in me.
"From now on, this will be the last time the two of you will be together. Understand?" Dad said to me in a low but very angry voice. "And you Mulder, if you will get near my daughter I swear, you will never see her again. I will take her away. I should've done that in the first place."
Then tears slowly formed in my eyes. I looked at Mulder, he was hurt. We looked at each other for a moment, but... I felt his hand slowly letting me go. And this time one by one tears fell from my eyes. Like they are racing down.
I shook my head "Mulder, No" my eyes filled with tears and fear for the first time I felt this way. And then I realized that I love him. I love spooky Fox Mulder.
