Scully's POV

After what seemed like an hour's walk from the hotel, Brad took me to a cabin. When we stepped inside I called Aira's name but she did not answer.

"Where is she, Brad?" I asked angrily at him.

"Oh she's just here," he answered smiling at me and walking towards me then he cupped both of my cheeks. "Oh baby I miss you so much."

I shoved his hands and stepped back then said "Give me back my daughter!"

"She is my daughter too," he said.

"You lost all the rights to be her father, Brad, ever since you went to jail. By the way, how did you get out?" I asked still angry.

He smiled. "A help from a very good friend."

I just looked at him like I wanted to strangle him but I know I can't do it. Brad's a big and strong man.

Then suddenly someone I know came out from a room.

"Oh, you're here," Diana said.

"Diana?" I can't believe it.

"Yes, it's me. Surprise!" she raised her hands.

"I should have known," I said taking a step back away from them.

"Yeah...but you were busy with your new little family," she said lowering her voice then sat on the chair. "Poor Brad, Fox took your place."

Brad displayed an angry face then he said "Come back to me Dana. You will see Aira if you just come back to me. I promised, I will never hurt you again." he walked closer to me.

I stepped back and said "No. Please give me back my daughter Brad. Why are you doing this.?"

"I want you baby, I want you back. I don't want that spooky Mulder to have you. You are mine just mine." he looked at me thoroughly like he was stripping me with his eyes.

I wrapped my waist with my arms. When my back hit the wooden wall, Brad put his hands above my head he looked down at me. And his eyes were heavy looking at me.

And he said, "I miss your soft lips, Dana."

My heart beats fast. He was going to kiss me and I turned my head on the left side to avoid his lips.

"Oh come on Brad! Really? You can't wait? Ugh! Move!" Diana stood up and walked towards me.

Brad moved still his eyes on me.

"Listen, Dana. You can have your little brat back but...you will give up your license as a doctor and leave Fox. That's all I want. Simple." then she smiled.

I looked at her, I can give up my license but Aira and Mulder are both important to me. I have loved them all my life. As much as it pains me I have to choose.

"Alright. Do you want my position as the director of the pediatrics department? Ok, you can have it." I said keeping my calm pose.

"What about Fox?" she asked with that evil smile on her face.

I looked at her for a second and said "I will leave him." those words escaped my mouth and it hurt. I want to cry, I just got Mulder back, but I don't want them to see me weak at this moment.

"Good," Diana said. She turned her back, walked then pulled something from her waist. A gun.

"You think you can get your little brat that easy?" she pointed the gun at me.

"Diana! No!" Brad shouted.

"Shut up Brad!" then she shot Brad right through his heart.

A loud thud hit the wooden floor and Brad died. My eyes widened from what happened.

"You are crazy!" I shouted.

She smiled and said "I just want what's mine." she pointed the gun at me.

"It doesn't have to be like this!"

"Yes, it has! I know Fox, he will never let you give up your career, and him, and your daughter. You will get away with all of them! That's why I have plan b." her smile grew wider.

Bang!

I froze and slowly touched the left side of my stomach. I looked down, and blood came out and stained my white shirt.

I looked at Diana as I was slowly sitting down from pain. She went back inside the room and then came out with my Aira.

"Aira..." I said as I was struggling on the floor.

"Mommy!!" she wanted to from to me but Diana grabbed her.

"Oh no you don't! Well, I guess this is it, Dana. You took everything from me. Fox, the position of department director, and all the awards that you've got as a doctor. Those things should've been mine. But... They will be. You will die any minute now Dana." she said holding the arm of Aira like it was just a bag.

"You...can...have...it all... Just please give me my daughter back..." The gun shot hurt so much that I was fighting my eyes ready to close.

"Ha! You wish! I will make money out of your precious mini-you. Ugh! She looked a lot like you that I want to puke!" she shouted. Then Aira was crying. "Well bye bye now ice queen.." she dragged Aira towards the door.

"No...." I cried looking at Aira calling me and crying. Just as soon as Diana closed the front door behind them, everything around me went black.
