I didn't bother to chase her because I felt it was useless. She will forever blame me for that one mistake. No matter what I do, she will hold it against me. I'm taking it to the grave.

As it got later, I fed the kids and put them to bed. I sat downstairs and watched the highlights to today's game. I could barely focus because I would zone out and all that happened would pop in my head. I woke up and it was around 1:30 in the morning. This couch ain't as comfortable as it looks. I turned off the TV and went upstairs to my bedroom. Lex was sleep, which was a good thing. There were pictures on the floor some were cut. I picked them up and seen that they were the copies of the last baby. Good thing I made copies. Why is she acting like this now? Why is she still tripping about this? How long has she really been holding this in?

The next morning, I was awaken by Ci Ci and Christain's laughing and screaming. Lex wasn't in the room, I.heard the sound of glass breaking followed by Lex shouting.

"You two go sit down and watch cartoons." She said

I got up and went downstairs and she was sweeping up the glass vase that was once owned by Ms. Gwen. I walked past her and laid on the couch with the kids until breakfast was served. I took this as my time

to talk to her.

"You ready to talk?" I walked into the laundry room

"Talk about what?" She asked lowly

"You keep blaming me for this shit. You need to let it go. Can't you see how it's tearing us apart."

"You are tearing us apart." She said throwing my shirt at me

"It was a mistake." I shouted grabbing her arms and slamming her up against the wall. She winched in pain as I caught my breathe. "How you expect me to marry you if you can't move on from the past?" I sighed as her eyes began to water. "I'm getting tired of you crying when we get into an argument. When you ready to talk to me, let me know. Cause I'm moving out." I said walking away. As of now, I've gotten impatient with Lex. I love her but it's gotten to the point that she doesn't know what she needs. I packed some clothes for me and Christain. I kissed Ci Ci goodbye as she fought to let me go.

"I'll be back Ci Ci. Daddy has to go bye bye."

"Dada, I wanna go with you!" She cried

"I'll be back Ci Ci." I picked her up as she cried on me, "I'll be back." I put her down as she ran to Lex. I grabbed Christain and left.

"You finally wanna pop up huh?" She opened the door

"Look, I ain't got time for your shit Vanessa. Just take Christain so I can go."

"What? No nigga, we don't do that. He is your responsibility."

"I got some stuff to handle."

"Whatever, put him on the coach."

"Hey baby, is everything aight." Some nigga came out from the back

"Yeah, it's just a friend dropping off my son." She looked at him

"I'm outta here." I walked off, "Dirty ass bitch." I got in my car

Alexis

He left? He really left? I had been sitting in this same spot since Chris left. Ci Ci done cried herself to sleep in my arms. I got up and put her in her bed. A hot shower is needed. A clear mind. What am I talking about? My fiancé just walked out on me. This is difficult, why do I have to be put in this situation. I told him I wasn't fond of this situation at all. I done pushed him away. He done changed me into the woman I never wanted to be.

"Yo this Chris, I'm too busy to pick up the phone. Hit me with that message and I'll try to respond *signature laugh*" I hung up after the 15th time of calling him. I threw my phone on the bed and laid down. This bed seems emptier knowing that he ain't coming home.

"Lex, something is always up with you and him." Key said, "I told you that this would come to light."

"Cause of Dion's big mouth ass." I said

"Don't blame my baby for you and Chris's problems."

"He won't answer the phone." I said

"Well, he is fired up."

"You saw him?"

"No."

"Stop lying."

"I'm not Lex. I have to go get Andre, he's fussing." She said before hanging up

She seen him. He probably over there. I went in Ci Ci's room and grabbed her out her crib to lay with me in my bed. Then I was out sleep.

COUPLE DAYS LATER

"He still hasn't called or came by?" Key asked

"No, Vanessa's been blowing up my phone and stuff."

"For what? Christain's with her."

"I don't know."

"Why you calling me?"

"Come and get him. He's drunk out his mind and I can't take this."

"Now you don't want nothing to do with him."

"Come get him. My nigga is gob trip if he finds Chris here."

"Aight, whatever. I'm on my way."
