I sat there staring at her. She knows why I'm mad. Before I was gunned down, she called me saying she doesn't know how I can live without her. Easy. I do it everyday.

"Chris." Lex called repeatedly until I looked at her on my bedside. "How you feeling?" She caressed my face.

"Aight." I mumbled out before tuning everybody out.

"Chris, cooperate with me please?" Lex asked me. She wanted me to take my antibiotics but I didn't care for them.

"I don't want it." I said before taking it out her hand and going to the kitchen.

"What are you doing?" She followed me. I took the lid off the pills and tossed them down the garbage disposal. "What is wrong with you?" She looked at me.

"I don't need no fucking pills or anything. I don't need none of this shit. Not a damn thing or anybody." I said as loud as I could.

"You don't need anybody?" She asked before walking away. She went and got Caden and grabbed some things. I limped after her as she walked out the door to the Range Rover.

"Alexis, wait." I called after her, "I ain't mean it." I said as she strapped in Caden's car seat, then closed the door walking past me. "Don't go. I just don't need this shit." I said as she looked at me.

"There's a lot of things we don't need Chris." She said before hopping in the truck and starting it up. She reversed it out and was gone.

"What the fuck is going on now?" Mike busted in the house with Dion behind.

"She told ya'll?" I asked

"Niggas almost got chewed out because of this shit." Mike said

"Key made me come check on you." Dion said, "Lex said you tossed the antibiotics down the drain."

"Don't need those fucking pills." I said

"Unless your ass want a fucking bacteria infection, I suggest you take them." Mike said

"Fuck those fucking pills man. I can do this without them." I stood up

"Nigga, you got shot in the back and your legs." Dion said

"Don't forget your hand too." Mike added.

"Ya'll starting to sound like Lex." I limped off.

"Nigga, sit down." Mike called

"Fuck that. Both of ya'll get the fuck out my house. I ain't gotta hear this." I said limping back to the living room.

Alexis

"Relax Lex. He'll come to his senses." Key said.

"I don't know what's gotten into him." I said.

"He just wants to feel strong. He's been in the hospital for damn near 3 weeks. Just give him time." She said.

"I hope that is all he needs." I sighed.

"I made Dion go check up on him."

"How he was acting? I hope they can deal with him." I said checking Caden, who was sleep in my arms.

"Where's Ci Ci?"

"She's with Mama J."

"I miss my little mama. I got use to her and Andre getting into stuff." She laughed.

"Where is DeAndre at?"

"Taking his nap." She got up, "That boy is becoming too much." She said picking up some of his toys. "I almost beat his ass the other day."

"What he do?"

"Damn near flooded the bathroom flushing a toy down the toilet." She looked at me. "Dion got to him before me." She laughed.

"Chris won't even let me lay a finger on Ci Ci." I rolled my eyes, "He always protecting her from me. He doesn't understand that she is has to be disciplined to learn right from wrong."

"Dion knows I will fuck DeAndre up."

"How?"

"Just look at how I how I fuck up Dion. He knows I will tear Andre's ass up." She laughed.

"Don't beat my nephew." I laughed.

"I ain't gonna hurt him. Just gon make him cry a little." She laughed. Then walks in Dion.

"Wassup Lex?" He looked at me, "Hey bae." He kissed Key. He was breathing heavy.

"You okay bae?" Key asked

"Yeah. I'm cool." He said sitting down.

"Talk to Chris?" She asked.

"Yeah, I talked to him." He took off his jacket.

"What happened?"

"My nigga done gone crazy." He said, "Over there having fits and shit. I'm trying to help him out." He looked at me.

"Thanks for trying Dion." I said looking at him.

"Had to atleast try and help." He grabbed the remote and turned on the game. About 15 minutes later, his snores filled the room.

Loud snoring ass Dion...
