When I woke up the next morning, Caden wasn't by my side. I almost panicked, but heard him makibg noises followed by Chris quieting him down.

"You gotta be quiet little man." Chris said, "Your mom is sleeping. She been tired lately and she needs to rest." He said as Caden started to make his little baby noises. Chris just laughed and walked out the room with him, to get the door. I heard little conversation and then Chris coming back upstairs. He came back in the room feeding Caden and when he was finished, I guess Caden was sleep. He put him in his crib and then got in bed.

"How long you plan on watching daddy?" He said in my ear as I pushed him away.

"Not long." I said pulling the covers on me more. "Why is it so cold?" I asked

"It's not even that cold." He looked at me like I was stupid.

"I'm freezing..." I trailed off, "Could you turn on the heater for me?" I asked balling up. He got up and turned the heater on.

"You probably coming down with a cold or something." He said feeling my forehead. "You're burning up." He said.

"I was perfectly fine last night." I rolled my eyes

"Bae, chill. I got you." He said as he went downstairs.

What the hell is going on??

"How you feeling?" Chris asked after checking in Cadence.

"I'm fine Chris." I said as he rubbed my back. He was right, I'm coming down with something. I've been throwing up all morning.

"You want something to drink?"

"A sprite will do." I said before running to the bathroom. After cleaning myself up, Chris helped me back in bed.

"I don't wanna leave you by yourself." He said. Then his phone went off.

"Yeah, she cool." Chris said after he picked up the phone. "Mom, she fine. She's getting her rest..." He said walking out the room.

"I'm coming to get the kids. Don't want them getting sick, especially Caden." Momma said

"Aight Ma."

"See you in a minute." She said before hanging up. I sent her a text asking to bring something to keep Lex's stomach calm.

"Bae, when's the last time you ate?" I asked walking in the room

"Yesterday at lunch."

"You don't feel your stomach going crazy?"

"I'm too weak to tell."

"I'ma make you some soup." I said getting up

A little while after Momma came and picked up the kids, Lex fell asleep. So I took that as the time to chill and relax before I have to help Lex with something. I was playing 2K14, on the my career mode, balling for none other than my team, the Chicago Bulls. As I was playing, I felt Lex wrap her arms around me.

"How you feeling?" I asked pausing the game

"Better." She came and sat on the couch

"Good. You want me to whip you up anything?" I asked

"No thanks. You threw me off a little with the soup." She laughed

"You still ate it though." I laughed

"What about you? Are you hungry?"

"Naw, I'm cool. I made me a PB&J."

"You made you a sandwich?"

"I ain't that good of a chef." I looked at her laughing

"You did your thang for me." She said

"Cause I hate seeing you under the weather." I kissed her

"After you finish this game, let's watch a movie." She suggested

"Aight. I'm almost done anyway." I said unpausing the game and continuing my play
