"I'm leaving. I saw what just happened." She said

That conversation. That night. Everything seemed to be repeating in my head. The day I met the devil. Tore my family apart and fucked up everything. How does Lex deal with a nigga like me? I fuck up with whatever I do.

"Chris, come on. I have to take a shower too." Lex said walking into the bathroom

"Aight." I said. Normally I would just let her hop in, but my mind wasn't stable and I sure as hell wanted to be alone. I cut the water off and grabbed my towel and went into the room.

"You okay?" Lex asked

"You know I love you right?"

"Chris, what's wrong?"

"Why do you put up with me?"

"Why are you asking me these questions?" She looked at me crazy

"I got something to tell you. Now when I tell you, you can't get mad."

"That's not a promise."

"Vanessa's pregnant."

"Good for her, who's the father this time?" She asked as I looked away, "Are you gonna answer me?" She asked

"She's naming me."

"Do I have to go through this again?" She asked, "You probably are the father. Out all hours of the night coming home drunk and smelling like bitches."

"Lex." I reached for her but she punched my chest, "Come here. Don't do this." I grabbed her, "I know for a fact that that baby ain't mine. If anything, I would remember sleeping with her."

"You're still a possibility." She tried to push me off her

"Calm down. Think about the baby."

"How can I keep calm with all this drama? I'm tired of this bitch." She shoved me away walking out the room grabbing her purse and keys.

"Lex, where you going?" I called after her

"I'm fenna kill this bitch." She said tryna open the door

"Calm down." I said

"Fuck you Chris." She punched my eye

"What the fuck is wrong with you?" I looked at her

"Move out the way." She said

"Calm the fuck down." I reached for her as she started punching me in my chest. I grabbed her hands and pushed her against the wall.

"Let me go." She tried to escape my grip

"Why do you insist on doing this to us? I try and work things out you run."

"So you did get that bitch pregnant?" She looked at me

"What?" I asked as she came across my face again, hitting me in the same place as before. This time it felt like a nigga was beating my ass. Soon I felt her hits on my back as I was on my knees.

I lost it. He got that bitch pregnant and he tried to cover it up. I was so angry that I couldn't control myself, but everything soon stopped when I felt something connect with my face, followed by a sting.

"Baby, I'm sorry." He said as I realized that he had hit me. He touched me as I shrugged him off me. Tears already down my face, he picked me up and carried me to the living room. "Bae-"

"Just shut up Chris." I slapped his hand away and got up and went upstairs closing and locking the door behind me. He hit me? That nigga really hit me. I never thought this nigga would hit me.

"He did what?" Key asked

"He hit me."

"I wish Dion would hit me, I'll chop his dick off and feed it to him." She said looking at my eye

"Is it bad?"

"Just red that's all. Where's he at?"

"Somewhere in here." I said

"Speaking of the devil himself she said as he walked in the room

"Where are the kids?" He asked

"Out back playing." Key said as he walked out, "His eye red too."

"I punched him twice."

"Ya'll must have got into it last night."

"Sure did. He sleeping in the guest room. I threw all his shit into the hallway this morning."

"What you gonna do about her?"

"I'll get her when I can. That bitch gon get her ass fucked up. I mean he tells me on my daughter's 2nd birthday that his baby momma is possibly having his 2nd child. I should've cut his ass."

"You wasn't gon cut him anyway. What the fuck is wrong with that bitch though? I had enough of her, I told Chris I ain't like her from the start."

"Well, that ain't seem to help." I said
