"Chris, can you come get your phone?" Lex asked as I got out the shower.

"Who is it?" I asked

"I don't know. Somebody tryna get in contact with you." She said as I wrapped the towel around my waist and walked in the room. I picked up my phone to see Vanessa blowing up my phone. What she want? As I was about to send her a text Mike called.

"Sup?" I answered

"Yo Chris.!! Vanessa in labor." Mike said into the phone.

"So, that's her problem. I ain't the father of that baby." When I said that, I felt Lex's eyes burning holes through me. I glared that way and sure enough she was looking dead at me. "Mike, let me call you back." I said beforw he could reply.

"What's going on now?" Lex asked after a moment of silence.

"She's in labor..." I trailed off

"What are you gonna do?"

"Nothing. Her child ain't mine." I said as I grabbed my clothes and went back to the bathroom. As I was brushing my teeth, Lex came in the bathroom and sat on the counter. I was annoyed cause I felt her eyes on me.

"What?" I asked after I was done.

"You're mad at me." She put her head down.

"Not even, I'm just irritated. Everybody thinks her baby is mine. Even you. I fucked up once, I ain't dumb enough to do it again." I said kissing her forehead.

"Well atleast go get a test. What if you are the father?"

"Lex, I ain't that baby's father."

"Then take the test. It won't hurt you if you know for certain you aren't the father." She said as I sighed running my hand over my face. "Come on, just do it." She wrapped her arms around my waist.

"If I do will you leave me alone about this?"

"Yeah." She simply said

"Get dressed then." I said walking away from her. I put on my sweat and hoodie and my retro 3's. Put on my Bulls beanie and made sure the house was secured before leaving. Decided to take my new white on white Camero. Driving there Lex seemed to be calmer than me. She was laughing and singing along to the radio.

"Come on Chris. You know you love when I sing." She smiled.

"Why you so calm?" I asked pulling into the parking spot.

"Cause, if the test comes back negative then you're telling thd truth." She smiled, but it quickly faded, "If it comes back positive, I don't know what I would do." She looked down then at me.

"You know I love you right?"

"Of course." She caressed my cheek

"I promise you I ain't do you wrong this time." I said as she ran her thumb across my lip. "Come here." I said as she leaned closer but Mike dumb ass started banging on the window. Fucking Mike.

"Ya'll nasty asses in there doing?" He asked smoking a blunt.

"Fucking Mike." Lex gritted as I laughed.

"Be cool bae. We got all night." I said

"You better hope." She got out the car as I laughed to myself.

Alexis

I'm actually cool about this on the outside, but the inside I feel everything boiling up. Chris better be telling the truth, cause just like I said, if the test comes back positive, I don't know what I will do.

"Don't let me fuck up your vibe." Mike said interrupting my thoughts.

"I'm cool Michael." I glanced at him as Chris wrapped his arm around me and walked in.

"I'm a little hungry." Chris said as I fiddled with his fingers

"I'm getting sleepy." I yawned

We have been here for about 7 hours. It was going on 5:30 and I was beyond tired. I just wanted to be at home in my own bed, snuggled up next to Chris.

"Want me to take you home?" Chris asked me

"I want you home too. We can stop by after we sleep." I said standing up

"You hungry? Can stop somewhere before going home." He said walking out with his arm around me.

"You can... I'm too tired." I said before he opened my door. The ride home was quick. As soon as I got in the door, I ran to my bed. About 15 minutes later Chris came in and laid down and I was out like a light.

I woke up to Chris not in bed. His phone was on the nightstand, so I know he's still here. I hear the sound of the toilet flushing and Chris walking out with his hand in his boxer.

"Morning bae." He said crawling in the bed kissing me

"You seem happy?" I said pulling away

"I just feel something about the day." He said biting his lip, "Can we do something?" He asked before kissimg my neck.

"Depends." I simply said

"Whatever you want." He laughed as I bit his lip
