Thinking about today, I realized that I got lucky with Lex. Yeah we argue a lot and all that, but that's my girl. She holds the heart. I feel like if I didn't meet her, then I would be a careless ass nigga. Not giving a fuck about anything but money like I used to. Man a nigga done changed. Got kids and engaged. Mike was right. I always said I would never put a ring on a female, but with Lex, she's different. Everything about her makes me smile. From the way she kisses to the way she talks to the way she walks and the way we- Forget I mentioned that part. But this woman is my other half and I'm glad I can call her mine.

The Next Morning

I went downstairs to the kitchen to see Lex eating a banana.

"Hey sleepy head." She smiled at me as I pecked her lips.

"Hey." I said going to the dishwasher and pulling out a bowl.

"So I was doing some thinking." She said.

"Aboooooooout?" I asked grabbing the box of Cinnamon Toast Crunch.

"Where we should move." She said

"Where is that?" I looked at her as I grabbed the milk and orange juice out the fridge.

"I think I would love it in Atlanta." She said.

"Where ever you wanna go is fine with me." I said grabbing a spoon and taking a bite.

"You sure?" She asked wrapping her arms around my waist.

"Yeah." I said taking another spoonful. "It's your decision bae. If it is where you wanna be and makes you happy, then we'll go." I said

"It's one of my dream places to go since I was little." She said.

"Then we will go there. What took you so long to decide?" I asked.

"I was stuck between going to New York, but I left that place for a reason."

"Well, we will make the best of it in Atlanta. Don't worry bae, I got us." I said putting the bowl down and wrapping my arms around her.

"What would I do without you?" She asked wrapping her arms around my neck.

"I should be the one asking that question." I said as we both chuckled. "Go get dressed in something comfortable and nice." I said.

"Another surprise?" She asked.

"Something like that." I said after pecking her lips.

"I'ma go watch my shows." She said grabbing the bag of doritos off the counter.

"Okay." I said picking my bowl back up and eating the rest of my cereal.

"Yo Chris, what you and Lex doing tonight?" Dion asked.

"Nothing. Probably chill and watch some movies."

"Me, Mike, and Key was thinking we could all kick it at y'all spot tonight." Dion said.

"Sure. Don't see why that ain't a problem." I said looking at my watch.

"What time y'all plan on getting here?"

"About 9 or 9:30." He said.

"Aight. I'll see y'all." I said before hanging up. "Dion and them coming over later." I said walking into the kitchen to see Lex eating ice cream.

"Okay. When are you picking up the kids?"

"Tomorrow." I said.

"We should go out on a vacation with them before we leave. All of us and the kids." She said.
