   Damien's POV

You could tell something was wrong. Your contract mark burned slightly as you ripped the head off an intruder. Tossing it to the side, you turned around. At that time, Bard ran past the top of the stairs.

"Master Bard! Go and check on the Earl and Lady Grimm!" You ordered him. He nodded and hurried off, shooting a few people behind him.

You punched a man in the stomach and felt your mark burn even more. You couldn't wait for Bard to return, and so you threw a card at the last man and hurried to Ciel's room. On the way, you passed Mey-Rin shooting a few people. You nodded at her and carried on running, ignoring her obvious blush. When you reached the corridor, you saw Sebastian holding someone up by their leg and grinning and their bloody face.

   "Where's Lady Grimm?!" You yelled.

"This way." He turned and left the man to drop on the floor. You both made your way to the Master's room, but as soon as reached the door, you knew something was definitely wrong. Sebastian pushed open the door and gasped, before growling lowly.

"Master!" You stepped past him and took a sniff of the air. You looked at the window to see it half open. As you stuck your head out, you saw tracks leading away from the Manor.

"I suppose we should get going. If we waste any time, we'll be late for dinner preparations." Sebastian opened the window further and sat on the windowsill, clicking his watch shut.

You nodded and followed him as he hopped out of the window, speeding off and following the racks, although... you had a faster way to journey. You ran into the adjacent forest and smirked as you saw your fiery wings spike out of your back.

"I've missed you..." You burned your deep blue wings brighter, jumping into the air and flying off at the speed of light.

   Sebastian's POV

You nearly caught up with a speeding away, when you saw a quick flash of blue next to you. The next thing you knew, it had stopped directly in front of the car, sending it flying into the air. When the car landed and the smoke cleared, you saw Damien holding out his leg where the car was coming from.

"I thought you might have needed some help." He smiled. You ignored him and walked over to the car which was just near a cliff. You smiled evilly to yourself, knowing how to get information.

"Please, Sir! We didn't do anything!" One of the drivers begged. Both you and Damien were sitting on the hood of the car. The car was halfway over the edge, and if you two stood up, it would crash down at the bottom.

"Now then, why were you intruding the Manor?" Damien asked them, leaning forward to help them along. The car tilted slightly, making the two men shake in fear. They held onto each other and yelped.

"W-We don't know! We were just told to scout!" The man on the left stuttered. You sighed and leant forward a little bit more.

"Yes, but why?" You asked them. Just at that time, the car phone rang. "May we have it?" You pointed towards the phone. They both nodded hastily and you thanked them, both you and Damien leaning back.

You picked up the phone and held it in between you both so you could both speak and listen in.

(A/N: writing like this is on the phone and writing like this is Sebastian and Damien.)

"YOU BETTER PICK UP YOU MONGRELS!"

"Hello?"

"Wha-"

"I am a member of the Phantomhive Household."

"I am a member of the Grimm household."

"We hope our Masters haven't been troubling you." You tried to sound apologetic.

   The line remained silent.

"Hello?"

"Woof."

"Meow."

"Understood. We'll come for you soon, so please wait a bit longer." You both spoke in unison. You closed the phone and handed it back to the two men.

"Thank you for lending the phone." You smiled at the two horrified men.

"Incidentally, there are a few other things we'd like to hear from you." Damien told them, getting down on one knee.

"Is that acceptable?" You asked them politely.

"First," Damien interrupted them before they could answer. "your owners name, please, gentlemen."

You leant forward a little bit and felt glee arise in you from their expressions. "Come now, we're not very patient people."

"You don't want to end up like Humpty Dumpty now, do you?" You both whispered at the same time. Their mouths dropped open at your words.

"THE FERRO FAMILY'S AZZURO VENER! HE'S SETTING A HIDE OUT NORTH OF THE EAST END!"

"Is that so?" You looked down slightly and stroked your chin.

"Yes..." One of the men whispered.

"We were only hired out!" The other driver blurted out.

You both stood up and looked down at them sympathetically.

"Oh, is that how it was?" You said quietly. "Then we apologise for detaining you."

"Enjoy your trip!" Damien waved at them. You both jumped off the hood of the car, staring blankly at the screaming men in the doomed car.

The wind blew through your hair as you looked down at the explosion.

"You know, Sebastian," Damien said, standing next to you as he smiled down at the catastrophe. "as much as I hate to say it, we make a good team."

You looked up at him, mildly shocked that he said that, but then you thought it was true too.

   "I agree, Damien."
