   Ciel's POV

After a small argument, Damien was carrying Lady (F/N) behind you and Sebastian. As much as you hated seeing her in the arms of someone else, you wanted her to be safe. You led everyone down a police-taped alleyway.

"Abberline! I thought Scotland Yard went off this case two days ago?" Ciel exclaimed, stopping at the sight of seven inspectors in various places.

"We're not off the case until we've solved it." Fred replied, not even looking up from the magnifying glass on the floor. His twin, Edward, looked up and gasped.

He picked up his magnifying glass off the floor and ran over to Lady Grimm.

"Mistress (F/N)!" He greeted her happily.

"Hello, Edward. You can put me down now, Damien." She told her Butler, who smiled and stood her on her feet. She steadied herself and looked up at Fred's ecstatic twin.

"I haven't seen you in three years!" He yelled, pulling her into a tight hug. Her eyes opened wide as the life was nearly squeezed out of her.

"Let go of her." You ordered him. He smiled nervously and unravel his arms from her. She stumbled backwards a bit, knocking into Sebastian. He placed his hands on her shoulder, helping her balance herself.

You growled slightly at his contact with Lady Grimm. Edward scratched the back of his neck awkwardly before turning back to (F/N) and grabbing her hand, pulling her towards a step. He sat down, patting the space next to her for her to sit. She sat next to him and they began talking. Ignoring his interference, you turned back to Fred and looked him in the eyes.

"Lady Grimm and I would like to inspect this place without you here." You tried to shoo them away. Fred bent down to your height and smirked at you.

"We're not moving, and what's a shorty like you gonna do?" He simpered. Sebastian coughed slightly, attracting Fred's attention. As he looked up, he caught Sebastian's death glare; his eyes were glowing redder than usual and his slightly pointy canines were showing through an evil smile.

"W-We'll leave, but only for one hour." Fred corrected his statement. He gathered all of his men and they picked up all of their stuff before leaving. Fred quickly bowed goodbye to (F/N) and ran off to catch up with them.

"Still as kind as I remember." She said, rejoining the trio. You nodded at her and bent down, picking up a small piece of paper. You scoffed and dropped it again; they couldn't even clean up after themselves.

You briefly explained where the body and the note was. Lady (F/N) looked around and thought of a reason of the murder.

"Wait, who was the person again?" She asked, looking up from the cracks in the floor.

"Frances Clives, the Owner of Harvard Manor." You replied, trying not to get caught by her eyes.

"And you say that he was tied upside down, hanging by his feet with no tongue?" She asked again, making sure that she heard the information correctly.

"Yes. His lungs had been punctured too, along with the other eleven victims." You answered her. You turned to Sebastian, "Did you bring the letters?"

"But of course, Master." He smiled, tilting his head. He pulled them out of his coat pocket and handed them to you. You took them and passed them along to (F/N). She took them off you, her fingers gently brushing against yours. You blushed a little bit and looked to your side, avoiding her confrontation.

   Sebastian's POV

You knew your Master had feelings toward Lady (F/N). The way he acted around her was different from his usual composure. If it were someone else, say you, he would have told you to stop asking questions and figure it out by yourself, but he seemed almost eager to answer her.

(F/N) flicked through the letters and sighed to herself.

"It's a failing Butler, that's for sure." She whispered.

"My Lady, how can you tell?" Damien asked her, bowing down to her height. His head was just behind her shoulder as he read over the letter, but his eyes kept looking down at her neck. You could tell that he liked the look of her skin. You could see he wanted to kiss and bite it. And you could also see how hard he was holding himself back.

"Well, they say that they are 'useless' and 'going nowhere', they also use the words 'disliked' and 'over-worked'. This is obviously a Butler who has been asked to do 'too much' and is not doing anything right. However," She flicked through the notes and put them together before handing them over to Damien. "I don't think these are all of the notes. There are twelve in total, but the last one is missing, meaning that there will be one more murder, possibly two."

"I see your deduction skills are as crisp as ever, My Lady." Damien said, smiling to her. She blushed and looked away. You felt jealous at how close this Butler was to his Master. But as close as Butlers and Masters should be, this was close... too close for your liking.

That meant that he was winning her over. You want to take her heart. You want to hold her so badly, but so did your Master and Damien.

"I-I think we should start by asking the families of the victims what was going on in the Manors that day. Maybe there's a connection..." She wondered, looking down. Damien held out his arm for her as she took it. He turned and began walking back to the carriage.

"Yes, My Lady." Damien smiled, smirking at you quickly.
